Modding tools for Dying Light are in the works



Techland Invites Gamers to Help Create Modding Tools for Dying Light

The release of Dying Light has already been met an amazing positive response from gamers around the globe. In their excitement, many PC players have already been creating mods that alter and revamp the game. At Techland, we want to see more! As a sandbox game, Dying Light is a perfect material for modding. This is why we are currently working on free and extensive modding tools for the game. And we want players to tell what they would like to see.

We’re inviting all Dying Light players to visit our official discussion board and share their mod ideas - no matter how crazy - with us here

Modders were a massive part of our gaming community since Call of Juarez 2 and Dead Island -- and we wish to continue that with Dying Light. This invitation is only the first stage of our cooperation with the gaming community. After the modding tools are released, we plan to actively support the coolest mods created by players.

We want to give creative freedom to the players to help keep Dying Light fresh and interesting even many years after their release. We want to thank players for the support they have shown us and are looking forward to their ideas where Dying Light can go from here.

Dying Light Season Pass Content Dated





First Dying Light Season Pass Drop Arrives

Techland revealed the release dates for all three content drops of the Season Pass for Dying Light. The first drop, titled ‘Cuisine & Cargo’, launches on February 10th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4* - supplying players with two extremely challenging new missions. Techland has promised to continue supporting Dying Light with new content for many months to come, including the release of ‘Ultimate Survivor Bundle’ in March and the May launch of ‘The Bozak Horde’ DLC.

The Dying Light Season Pass contains

• Cuisine & Cargo (February 10th) – Available exclusively as a part of the Season Pass offer, these two hardcore missions let players investigate buildings sealed off in the very first days of the outbreak. Explore the ominous corridors of once the most famous restaurant in Harran, and employ both stealth and combat to ransack a zombie-filled loading bay at the abandoned railroad yard.

• Ultimate Survivor Bundle (March) – Players will receive seven unique in-game items that will bring fighting zombies to a whole new level. Grab three special outfits and four blueprints for over-the-top weapons to make your adventure in the quarantine zone even more fun.

• The Bozak Horde (May) – The final Season Pass drop will deliver a new map and gameplay, playable in single-player and co-op. Go inside the Harran Stadium and test your combat know-how against relentless hordes of the Infected. Fight increasingly stronger enemy waves as you oppose a mysterious psychopath called Bozak.

Dying Light “My Apocalypse” Collectors Edition Announced

To prepare for the UK retail release of Dying Light on February 27th, Techland has unveiled the “My Apocalypse” Collectors Edition – a unique special edition of its critically acclaimed zombie action game. Available to pre-order exclusively from GAME for ￡250,000, this one-off edition of the game is only available for one UK-based customer and includes 4 Steelbook copies of the game for co-op action, professional parkour lessons, exclusive merchandise… and a custom built, zombie apocalypse-proofed house.

When your life is on the line in an apocalypse, it’s best to come prepared. The Dying Light “My Apocalypse” Collectors Edition lets you do just that. The centerpiece of this one-of-a-kind edition is a fortified zombie apocalypse-proofed house that will be built to order by UK-based Tiger Log Cabins. The house comes fully equipped with all live-in amenities and also includes an upper deck with vantage points and an escape hatch, arsenal storage for weaponry, and of course a living area with TV, Xbox One, and the latest sound system to play Dying Light on.
