Project Spark Starter Pack comes to retail in October
《星火计划》零售版10月初发售

　　《星火计划(Project Spark)》是一款能够充分发挥创造力的游戏，让玩家们能够创建游戏、虚拟世界、短片并进行各种互动，并且能和朋友们一起分享自己的有趣体验。此前官方已经先后推出了本作PC版和XBOX One版的测试版，而现在微软宣布游戏零售版将于2014年10月7日登陆北美，10月9日登陆亚洲，而10月10日则将登陆欧洲。

　　本次所推出的零售版“《星火计划》新手包”售价为39.99美元，将收录“星系：第一次接触”科幻包、“冠军任务：虚空风暴”等丰富的游戏内容。此外微软也会在XBOX One和PC上推出游戏的数字版，将会包含光盘版的全部内容。

Project Spark Makes Its Way to Stores This Fall

“Project Spark Starter Pack,” the Xbox One retail version of the game that has put the powers of creation and play in the hands of gamers, will arrive in stores on October 7 in the Americas, October 9 in Asia-Pacific countries and October 10 in Europe.

The retail package will deliver an incredible collection of premium content for $39.99, including the first sci-fi pack “Galaxies: First Contact,” the warrior champion Sir Haakon “Hawk” the Knight, “Champions Quest: Void Storm,” the first episode of an epic campaign adventure, and more. The “Project Spark Starter Pack” will provide immediate access to some of the best paid content, features and add-ons in a single package. All of the content included in the disc version will also be available digitally for Xbox One and Windows 8.1 on launch day.

“Project Spark” has made a name for itself as one of the most unique, innovative games available, and can be downloaded for free on Xbox One and Windows 8.1. Players can then expand their experience by purchasing additional in-game content. The beta has been going strong since December of last year, and with the launch of the “Project Spark Starter Pack” the game will officially move out of beta to full release.

Don’t fret, creators – if you’ve been playing, creating, unlocking and enjoying the existing beta on Windows 8.1 or Xbox One, the game will simply receive an update, so your credits, creations and favorite levels will remain intact.         本作是微软针对配备Windows 8 的平台所开发作品，号称能「让玩家自己做游戏的游戏」！过去6 个月以来的β 测试终于正式结束并在官方网站开放下载！

        在游戏中，玩家只要利用强大的「地形笔刷」，就能够轻易创造出想要的任何世界，而所有的「生物」、「角色」及「声音」等内容，都可以利用内建模组进行修改。

        另外，由于对应Kinect 与触控萤幕功能，玩家可以自由调整物件位置、大小和其他各项参数，不但可以制作2D 动作游戏、守防游戏、横向射击、益智游戏、甚至连动作RPG 都可以在这个游戏里面制作出来。据说光是在β 测试期间，就有超过7 万作品出产！

        至于购买游戏制作物件的「代币（Dollar）」取得方式就是「玩其他玩家制作的游戏」！只要玩过之后就可以得到这些代币、购买更多物件​​。

        此外，本作除了免费下载版之外，玩家还可以以「40 美元」的价格购入含各种特典的「Starter Pack」。

What will You Create? Project Spark Launches Online and at Retail

After a six-month beta, Project Spark has now launched with a host of new content and a retail disc offering. More than 1 milion Project Spark creators have already logged 4 million hours making 70,000 game levels that fans can dive into on day one. New content comes online every day so there’s is always fresh content to check out regardless of your genre preference or skill level.

Project Spark is an experience like no other that aims to democratize game making by giving everyone easy-to-use tools to create, play and share their own creations with others. You can instantly play tens of thousands of user-made games, remix a pre-made game, or hop right in and make your own game with tools including 3D sculpting and a visual programming language similar to what the pros use, made accessible to all.

Project Spark is free-to-play and is available for download now via the Xbox One and Windows 8.1 stores. Add-on content can be unlocked by using in-game credits earned during play, or by purchasing tokens to buy add-ons immediately. Fans will see a host of new content available on launch day including sci-fi skin, adventure mode, champion features, creation enhancements, and multiplayer mode to inspire all new gameplay.

Those brand new to Project Spark might want to check out the Starter Pack retail disc that includes $85 worth of downloadable content for $39.99 (USD). The package includes the Project Spark base game download, “Champions Quest: Void Storm” adventure,” First Contact” sci-fi theme pack, Sir Haakon the Knight playable champion, “Arctic Glaciers” winter landscape, “Massive World Builders Pack” expansion, “Yeti’s Rage” content pack, and a one month “Spark Premium” membership.

Conker’s Big Reunion Debut Gameplay Trailer

First Gameplay Trailer of Conker’s Big Reunion in Project Spark

It all starts with a squirrel and an overdue bar tab. Conker is visiting Project Spark on April 23 with an episodic adventure Conker’s Big Reunion. Check out the first gameplay trailer below!

For $4.99, Conker fans can get Conker’s Big Reunion in Project Spark. For $9.99 fans can get Conker’s Big Reunion, the Conker Creation Pack (over 350 creation assets) which also includes the Conker Champion playable in Champions Quest (CQ) and Crossroads, and CQ Episode 1. Conker’s Big Reunion is Almost Here!

The fan reactions to Conker coming to Project Spark have been great. It’s exciting and motivating to see so many people just as passionate about Conker as our team. We’re huge fans of Conker ourselves and our top goal has been to be true to Conker.

The content we’ve released so far has focused on our Realms and Galaxies product lines. We’ve always had aspirations to include popular IP to sit alongside these other universes and now we’re finally launching our first partnership.

Conker is the first step to bring a beloved franchise to Project Spark. With the Conker Creation Pack, players will be able to build their own Conker games and tell their own Conker stories. There’s no telling what people are going to create (Our moderators are standing by! Hehe) and everything our creators share will be available for free for anyone to play. It’s going to be pretty exciting!

We didn’t want our community to have all the fun in bringing back Conker so we’re also building the first episode in an all new Conker adventure, called Conker’s Big Reunion. This hour long experience is meant to play like what you’d expect from a Conker game. Team Dakota has built this episode with the same simple yet powerful creation tools our community uses today so it’s also a great way to get inspired by what the Project Spark platform is capable of creating.

I don’t know what is in store for Conker beyond Project Spark (and Conker’s inclusion here is not limiting other plans for this irreverent squirrel), but I’m hoping that Conker’s Big Reunion is going to set the bar for how to build a great Conker game. It’s amazing how many parodies, mechanics and gags we’ve been able to pack into this first episode. And with Rare and Chris Seavor’s guidance and support, I really believe the Conker fans are going to be satisfied with what we’ve built.

Conker releases in Project Spark on April 23. Episode 1 of Conker’s Big Reunion will be available as a digital download for $4.99 (or 500 in-game tokens). You can also purchase the Conker Mega Pack, including the Conker Creation Pack (Conker: Hail to the Remix), episode 1 of Conker’s Big Reunion, the Conker Champion (which is playable in Champions Quest and Crossroads) and episode 1 of Champions Quest all as one bundle for $9.99 (or 1,000 in-game tokens). As a reminder, Project Spark is a free digital download on Xbox One and Windows 8.1. This free platform lets you play community creations as well as develop your own games and stories.

Project Spark going fully free on October 5



Project Spark Transitioning to Free Incubation Engine

On October 5, Project Spark will be rolling out its biggest update and platform change. This update overhauls many Project Spark systems and areas. The biggest change is a shift from a free-to-play model to a free and open creation platform. What does that mean? This will automatically unlock previously paid downloadable content for new and existing Project Spark users. Microsoft will pivot from producing DLC and active feature development to encouraging more user generated content and opening the Project Spark experience.

Project Spark’s goal has always been to empower creativity. We’ve been an incubation engine for ideas from epic to artistic and we plan to continue doing so. Project Spark inspires and empowers over 200,000 creators who have shared tens of millions of custom objects, behaviors and experiences. Every day we see anywhere between 300 and 400 new games being uploaded on our platform. Our support of these creators and our communications with them will continue in an open, free and collaborative environment.

In light of these changes to a fully free model, all players who have purchased Project Spark digital content on or after July 28, 2015, purchased a retail disc and activated it by product key redemption on or after July 28, 2015 or have a remainder balance of purchased in-game tokens will be entitled to Microsoft Store credit equivalent to their money spent. Microsoft Store credits will be awarded automatically to all users within 30-60 days after October 5. If you have additional concerns, we have a full FAQ on our refund process.

Additionally, today’s released content packs are our last planned DLC. With a total of 46 released packs and 2,000+ assets, we feel like we’ve gotten to a good place with our content offers for creators. This also means that we will no longer create episodic adventures, including future Conker’s Big Reunion episodic content. We’ll leave it up to you to continue his story in whatever ways you want, and we can’t wait to see what you create!

Alongside these larger changes, Project Spark will roll out a number of different content, updates and features to further unlock and amplify your experience. The new Project Spark Title Update, arriving on October 5, will include features like:

• The maximum terrain limit in creations has been doubled (on top of Massive World Builder)
• The maximum prop limit in creations has been increased by 500 (on top of Massive World Builder)
• 200+ new assets will be added in game, including a dragon, goblin warlord, bog biome and a set of new primitive building blocks
• Each creator will now have a total of 100 Upload Slots for their creations
• UGC ranking will be based on downloads and favorites, instead of upvote/downvote ratings
• The Project Spark Marketplace has been removed
• The Project Spark Tour and Treasure Trove have been removed
• Achievements have been revamped for players and creators
