嗨，大家好~ 我相信来这里的都是想学英语的人。我本来在马来西亚的时候，我跟大多数人一样，以为啊，英语是要靠做练习题而多看英文戏才能理解的
我知道我错了

学英语最重要的环节，是“讲”，也就是说speaking

就好像，喜欢看动漫，港剧，韩剧的朋友们，看多了能对语言有一定程度的理解。不过呢，只是理解罢了，讲的话还是不行的
所以我知道，如何要让一个从理解英语的人，变成通用英语的人。而且，单单读书太闲了，要找些事情做
所以呢，我打算开在论坛成立一个英语会话俱乐部，有兴趣的人可以来这里学习，进修英文～讲错话用错词大家可以一起专研！！！

一开始可能比较少人，所以拜托各位要宣传一下咯，多多人才热闹嘛

我上线时间是九点半到十二点++ 希望大家这个时间跟我聊天进修english

the best way to improve your english is use english as your main language. it wil help you a lot.

slow and steady man. try your best to speak it out, you must try to speak to your friends,or your family. don't think it's weird if you pronounce wrongly, we learn from mistakes. ok? all the best to you!!

I do speak fluent English, but my writing is very bad. Anyway try to use English as main language in your daily life. All the best to you!

You are right. most people are able to write good English but they cannot speak fluently.
It is important to pronounce and talk well as English is an important language.

And you have to know that direct translations aren't going to work, the dictionary will be your helpful partner if you really wish to improve your English.

Read.

these will help you to improve your english from time to time.

personal experience, go for more english movie with ENGLISH subtitle...
it can help you on reading, spelling and listening at the same time

May i ask what kind of english you going to learn?
British? Singlish？Manglish?

Just a funny joke for you, actually a proper english the first step is learn the correctly and standard english, most of the people good in talking, but it's often make a funny joke for foreigner and other else.

English speaking has to be constant in order to make it fluent. The best way to improve English, in my opinion, is to read books or magazine (English comic/ manga as well) and watch English movie without subtitle.

Mostly Malaysian speak english with 'la, lo...' also.
Let's try to speak proper english without 'la and lo' one day.
