Paragon - All Heroes Free, Early Access Starts March 18
We have some BIG news! Paragon Founder’s Packs go on sale March 14, and unlock Early Access beginning on March 18. So what does this mean exactly?
By buying a Founder’s Pack, you’ll be able to play early, get a great value on in-game content, and help shape the future of the game. Your progress will be persistent - meaning we will not wipe accounts after March 18.
For those of you who have signed up for the beta (almost a million people so far!) - thank you for your support! If you don’t want to buy a Founder’s Pack, we will be holding Beta Weekends during Early Access where you can play Paragon for free.
All Heroes Free, All Cards Earned By Playing
Paragon is designed so that all players can compete and win without ever having to spend money. All Heroes are free, and cards can only be earned by playing the game. The game will never be pay-to-win, meaning we will never sell gameplay-affecting items. We will sell cosmetic items (skins, emotes), boosts and other convenience items, along with Paid Early Access. We’re taking this approach because we believe that competitive games need to be fair for all players.
Why Early Access and Founder’s Packs?
Paragon is still in development. The game is missing features, and some of the content is placeholder. We don’t yet have a lot of features to make it easier to understand for new players, and some systems (for example: cards and deck building) require a lot of patience.
Yet, we really want gamers to be able to opt-in and be here with us from the start, to give feedback and help shape the game. As a way of saying thanks, we’re trying to make Founder’s Packs an insanely good value. If you’re interested in Paragon, buying a Founder’s Pack will get you in-game content at a huge discount from normal prices. During the Early Access Season, we’ll release new (free!) Heroes every three weeks, hold community events, and offer daily and weekly rewards.
Founder’s Packs will cost $19.99, and include access to the game, skins, boosts, and other cosmetic items you can unlock by playing. Challenger Packs ($59.99) and Master Packs ($99.99) will include a huge number of skins, unlockable items, boosts, a unique skin, and a Founder’s Pack to give to a friend. We promised you an aggressive schedule for new Heroes, and we meant it. Here's your first look at our first new Hero, Sevarog. You'll be able to play Sevarog as part of our update on Tuesday, March 29.
Sevarog is a tank who thrives in the jungle. Sevarog uses his giant hammer, eats souls (minions or enemy Heroes), and grows in size. By eating souls, he stacks health and gains damage boosts, which make him grow and become super deadly in late game. We'll be looking at Sevarog in-depth during our Twitch stream on Monday, March 28 at 11 a.m.
This is probably a good time to remind you that Heroes are always free in Paragon, so you'll be able to jump right in and devour souls on Tuesday. See you on the battlefield.

New Paragon Hero Reveal: Iggy & Scorch
We’ve seen some amazing matches and strategies in Paragon, and it’s time to shake it up again. We’d like to introduce you to our newest Hero(es) ... Iggy & Scorch. Get your first look at the flame-wielding duo below. You’ll be able to play Iggy & Scorch as part of our update on Thursday, April 21.
The TL;DR on Iggy & Scorch is that the duo is a caster with serious lane control. Iggy sits atop Scorch while putting down flame turrets that zone enemies. Iggy also throws molotovs that cause fire damage, while Scorch secretes flammable oil that compounds the damage over time and expands the damage area.
We’ll be looking at Iggy & Scorch in-depth during our Twitch stream on Monday, April 18, at 11 a.m. EDT.

We’ve been working on a special retail edition of our new MOBA, Paragon — called the Paragon Essentials Edition. The Essentials Edition includes everything you need to start killing me on the battlefields of Agora, including a launch-exclusive Wasteland Twinblast skin.

The TL;DR on GRIM.exe is that he uses his battle unit to attack at range. His pulse cannon features a passive with bonus damage every eight seconds. His other abilities allow GRIM.exe to shield himself, slow enemies or knock them back. His Gyro Targeted Force Orb ultimate homes to a target while passing through objects and non-Hero units.

We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this Support Tank … Riktor. He’s a cyborg with serious reach. Get your first look at Riktor below. You’ll be able to play Riktor as part of our update on Tuesday, May 31.
The TL;DR on Riktor is that he is a melee tank who specializes in crowd control. He's a powerful initiator who brings order to the battlefield by locking down targets and pacifying enemies. His Riplash ability reaches out with his electric chain and pulls in enemy Heroes and/or minions while dealing damage. His Shock Therapy disrupts enemies by silencing them and his Skewer Ultimate uses a web of chains to damage and stun everyone in his path.

Free Open beta, new Hero and major changes all heading to Paragon
Epic Games is happy to announce today that its forthcoming MOBA, Paragon will be moving into Free Open Beta on August 16 allowing even more PC and PlayStation 4 owners to join the battle for lane supremacy.
Ahead of this, on July 21, existing Early Access players will get a brand new Hero, Khaimera. This melee fighter is Paragon’s first duelist who specializes in disrupting team fights with close-up encounters. His Pounce leaps to a target enemy Hero, briefly stunning that Hero and dealing Physical Damage around him.
While engaged in fights, Khaimera’s Spirit Regeneration stacks more health regen with each basic attack. His Ultimate, Cull, deals a large amount of damage, both rooting and isolating a target from allies.
Finally, Epic today confirmed a number of big changes planned for Paragon, including an all-new Draft Mode, changes to gameplay, and more. Further details can be found in an in-depth blog found on Paragon's blog.

We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this fighter … Greystone. He’s a noble force who leads his team into battle. Get your first look at Greystone below. You’ll be able to play Greystone as part of our update on Tuesday, July 12.
The TL;DR on Greystone is that he is a fighter who thrives in team fights and excels on the front lines. Using “Assault the Gates” to close the gap on high-priority targets, Greystone then activates “Make Way” dealing damage in an area around him. He doesn’t mind taking a few blows since his “Stoic” ability grants him passive bonus resistances. When Greystone’s opponents think they've bested him, he turns to stone and is respawned through his ultimate ability, “Reforged.” With his spirit crashing down from above, Greystone returns from the dead with a portion of his HP and full Mana while damaging and knocking up enemies around him.
As always, all Heroes in Paragon are free, so if you're in Early Access you'll be able to jump in as Greystone on Tuesday.

The TL;DR on The Fey is that she is a Support Caster (Energy Damage; Growth, Intellect) who uses nature’s power in Agora to specialize in crowd control and harasses you in lane. Her Untamed Growth ability throws out a explosive plant that does AOE damage over time. Her Bramble Patch creates a line of thorny brambles that can slow multiple Heroes. Harvest Nettles refunds mana on successful hit while her Ultimate, Fly Trap, summons a gargantuan plant that drags you in and applies serious damage.

pic Games has unleashed, Narbash, the latest Hero for its free-to-play PC and PlayStation 4 MOBA, Paragon! Get acquainted with Narbash with this reveal video and see his abilities in action here.
Narbash is a beast who bangs on the drum all day, a Support Caster who specializes in crowd control and buffing his team as he charges into the fight. His Thunk ability allows him to lock down a singular target with a stun. His March ability provides him with a movement speed aura, which can be devastating when combined with the Health Regeneration aura provided by his Song of My People ability. Narbash causes a ruckus with his ultimate Crash Bang Boom, slowing enemies in an AoE, then finishing his performance with a knockup.

We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this Burst Caster … Lt. Belica. She’s locks down lanes and eliminates those who attempt to challenge the law. You’ll be able to play Lt. Belica as part of our update on Tuesday, September 13.
Lt. Belica is a Burst Caster (Energy Damage; Order, Intellect) who specializes in zoning enemy heroes and mana control. Her Void Bomb ability allows her to burst damage in an area after a short delay and restores mana for each enemy hit. Her Seismic Assault provides her a line skillshot that deals damage and knocks up enemies. She can control a large area with Void Drone which drains mana per second from enemy Heroes standing in the area of effect, as well as zapping them for damage when they cast an ability. Belica’s Ultimate, Neural Disruptor, allows her to capitalize on low enemy mana by dealing a damage nuke based on their missing mana to finish the fight!

We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this sword wielding Fighter… Kwang. You’ll be able to play Kwang starting Tuesday, October 4. Get your first look at Kwang above.
Kwang is a durable fighter that excels at initiating. A master swordsman, Kwang can utilize his Legendary Blade to change how and where he uses his abilities. Check out his abilities below:
• Light of the Heavens - Beams of light strike Kwang’s sword, dealing AoE damage around it and giving him Physical and Energy Armor.
• Judgement of the Heavens - Kwang throws his sword to the heavens. When it lands, it deals damage and tethers enemies to it. The sword remains planted in the ground forever, until retriggered or the next basic attack.
• Gift of the Heavens - Passive: Kwang’s sword bursts with light, creating an aura around it that grants lifesteal to both Kwang and allies around him.
• Fury of the Heavens - Kwang spins his blade around him in an AoE, damaging and slowing enemies. If his sword has been thrown and is out in the world he will teleport to it before attacking.

We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this burst casting vampire... Countess. You’ll be able to play Countess starting Tuesday, October 25. Get your first look at Countess below.
Countess is a burst caster whose greatest strengths are misdirection and unpredictability. Utilizing her abilities, Countess can quickly single out and assassinate a key target and vanish into the darkness.
• Blade Siphon - Countess quickly spins her blades around her, causing damage in a circle around her. Passive: Countess regains a percent of her max health every time she kills an enemy, with bonus health for a Hero kill.
• Shadow Slip - Countess targets a nearby enemy and blinks to it, dealing damage and applying a slow. If the target is a minion, it is executed. Reactivate to return to the original position.
• Dark Tide - Countess sends out a roiling cloud of darkness in front of her, dealing damage to all enemies in the area of effect.
• Feast - Countess jumps to a nearby enemy Hero, forcing them to look at her and stunning them before dealing a massive burst of damage. Countess is locked down for the duration of the attack.

Crunch is a melee fighter (Fury/Order) with a unique combo system. Utilizing each of his abilities, Crunch is capable of fluidly chaining combos together to quickly scrap his opponents.
• Re-Crunch - Re-Crunch repeats the last ability used, opening up more possible combos. Re-Crunch also has two passive components. First, landing basic attacks shaves time off your cooldowns. Second, every third ability used is empowered.
• Forward Crunch - Launches Crunch forward, stopping on the first enemy hero hit, dealing damage. When empowered, Forward Crunch drags enemies the full distance of the charge.
• Left Crunch - Crunch delivers a left hook that deals increased cleave damage. When empowered, Left Crunch deals 100% basic attack damage to all enemies in cleave range.
• Right Crunch - Crunch slows enemies on hit. When empowered, Right Crunch knocks up enemies.

We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this melee carry with a split personality … Serath. You’ll be able to play Serath starting Tuesday, Jan. 10. Get your first look at Serath above.
Serath (Order, Corruption) is a carry with a unique twist: she fights in melee range. Utilizing each ability in her kit, she’s able to close distances quickly, and keep enemies in range to unleash fury upon her opponents.
• Chastise - Serath attacks an enemy dealing damage and applying a slow. This attack also cleaves other nearby enemies.
• Heaven’s Fury - Serath hovers in place and hits each target in an area with a ghostly slash. Each slash deals damage one target at a time, with a delay between each attack. Serath is immune to damage and crowd control during this ability.
• Ascend - Rise into the air and then rapidly dive back down, traveling and dealing damage to a targeted area.
• Heresy - Serath lets her dark side take over and her abilities now apply a burn effect which creates a weakness aura around affected enemies. Enemies who are burning also take additional damage from Serath’s basic attacks.

A cold wind blows in as Paragon’s latest Hero, Aurora, reveals herself. Free booster pack for PS+ members drops tomorrow.
Epic Games has revealed Aurora, the next Hero to join the free-to-play PC and PlayStation 4 MOBA, Paragon. Aurora will be free to play when she joins the fight on January 31.
Aurora is an elusive, crowd-control specialist who uses her abilities to manipulate the cold. A powerful initiator, Aurora uses the cold to freeze her enemies and take control of the battle. You can get your first look at Aurora in action in the all new Hero reveal video.
Here’s the lowdown on Aurora’s abilities:
• Frozen Simulacrum - Allows Aurora to leap in a target direction, leaving behind a solid ice clone of herself.
• Glacial Charge - An icy trail launches Aurora forward, dealing damage, pushing enemies aside and blocking projectiles from the front.
• Hoarfrost - Creates a ring of hoarfrost around Aurora, dealing damage and rooting enemies caught in the ice.
• Cryoseism - Aurora creates an ice earthquake. Enemies in the area will turn to ice, which then explodes, causing damage to the Hero and spreading the effect to other nearby Heroes and minions.

Today, Epic Games has announced the latest Hero, Shinbi, for its free-to-play PC and PlayStation 4 MOBA, Paragon. Shinbi will be available for free this coming Tuesday, February 21
A world famous pop star known for summoning Spirit Wolves during her performances, Shinbi is a deceptive melee assassin who uses her wolves to dazzle her enemies and rip them to shreds in battle. Rushing Beat - Shinbi dashes forward passing through enemies and dealing damage, she can also re-trigger quickly after to dash again
Line Tempo - A Spirit Wolf is summoned and runs out in a straight line, passing through minions and dealing damage. The wolf explodes on contact with an enemy Hero
Circle Rhythm - Shinbi summons four Spirit Wolves that circle her for 4 seconds, which deal damage and heal Shinbi for each hit
All-Kill! - Passive: All of Shinbi’s abilities apply +1 Spirit Wolf stack per hit to enemy Heroes, building up to eight stacks. Active: When activated a pack of Spirit Wolves attack the closest target with the highest number of Wolf stacks, sending one Wolf per stack.

Paragon New Hero Reveal: Yin
We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this hybrid melee carry Hero... Yin. You’ll be able to play Yin starting Tuesday, March 14. Get your first look at Yin above.
Yin (Growth, Fury) is a carry who wields a combination of her whip and wind magic to quickly dispatch her enemies. Although she came from a life of crime on the streets with Aurora, Yin rose to the rank of First Guardian of her city.
Backlash - Yin cracks her whip, dealing damage in an area in front of her. If enemy projectiles are hit by the whip, they will be reflected back towards the enemy.
Lash Kick - Yin swings her whip, pulling herself to a target, and then jumps off of their head dealing damage.
Windburn - Yin reaches with her whip, increasing the range of her basic attack as well as gaining cleave.
Quelling Gale - Yin surrounds herself in a whirlwind, displacing all enemies within range. For 5 seconds, the whirlwind will slow enemies and enemy projectiles that travel through it.

Paragon's latest Hero, Morigesh, brings true terror to the battlefield
Today, Epic Games introduces Morigesh, the next Hero to join the ever-growing roster for the studio’s free-to-play PC and PlayStation 4 MOBA, Paragon.
Available for free to all players on Tuesday, April 4, Morigesh is a close range caster who uses her abilities to deal consistent damage to her enemies before assassinating them. Check out her teaser video now!
Abilities
Mark - Morigesh marks a target, dealing damage and turning her doll into the shape of the targeted Hero. Targets stay Marked until a new Hero is chosen or the Marked target dies.
Hive - A Hive of insects is thrown, exploding into an AoE dealing damage over time and applying a slow with every instance of damage.
Swarm - Morigesh transforms into a swarm of insects, granting her movement speed and the ability to pass through enemies. When passing through enemies you deal damage and gain Health Regeneration.
Curse - Summons a deadly swarm of insects in Morigesh’s image to stab the most recent Marked target (Global Ultimate).

We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this ranged ability Carry … Revenant. You’ll be able to play Revenant starting Tuesday, April 25. Get your first look at Revenant below.
Revenant (Fury, Corruption) is an unholy melding of malevolent spirit and vicious bounty hunter. An ability Carry, Revenant relies on isolating targets and collecting bounties in order to snowball past the enemy carry.
Hand Cannon - Revenant carries a revolver with 4 rounds, upon consuming these rounds he will automatically reload.
Hellfire Rounds - Allows you to reload your weapon at any time, and passively causes bonus damage on your fourth shot.
Scar - Infuses your target with dark energy, attacking will deal bonus damage to your enemy.
Obliterate - Revenant fires a volley of projectiles which randomly target enemies in front of him.
Reckoning - Revenant transports himself and his target to the Nether Realm, where he and his enemy must duel. While there, only Revenant can see his prey and they can only damage each other. If he succeeds in killing his enemy, he collects their bounty, earning bonus card power.

Paragon's "Age of Intellect" update brings new Hero, big game updates on May 16
Today, Epic Games has announced its next major update for its third-person PlayStation 4 and PC MOBA, Paragon, which is now available in free open beta.
Available as a free update on Tuesday, May 16, “The Age of Intellect” update (v.40) brings a new Hero to the mix, reworks for several popular Heroes, changes to several cards, new ways to earn in-game rewards, and more. Phase: Paragon’s newest Hero
Phase began to exhibit powers at a young age and was sent to Tryon Industries for special “care”. When the other subjects staged a break out, she joined the cause. Once free, she hid her powers blending in with everyday life in Omeda City, until that is, she was led to Agora.

Heroes Updated
Several popular Heroes have been reworked or changed in ways that improve usability, and will change how players approach the battlefield. Some of the oldest Heroes like Steel and Murock have had kit updates to make them more viable in combat; even some newer Heroes like Shinbi has seen changes to unlock her full potential.
Cards Reworked
While Paragon’s card system is being completely reworked, Epic continues to update existing cards to reflect the general direction for the future. This includes several reworks of niche cards alongside updated functionality and balance across the full library.

New Hero Reveal: Wukong
We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. Everyone calls this melee carry... Wukong. You’ll be able to play Wukong starting Tuesday, June 6th. Get your first look at Wukong above.
Wukong (Order/Corruption) and Feng Mao used to be traveling companions. When Wukong became too much to handle, Feng trapped him in a cave and left. 100 years later, Wukong is free and on his way to Agora to resume aggravating Feng Mao. Wukong is a deadly and elusive melee carry, capable of farming faster than any other Hero.
• Control Aggression - Passive: grants bonus CP to a random minion in the area upon last hit. Toggle: the Monkey King swaps between offensive and defensive stance. DEF - Defensive stance, OFF - Offensive stance.
• Staff of Legend - Extends his polearm. OFF: your polearm deals damage and pushes enemies back the length of the staff. DEF: Wukong plants his staff and launches himself into the air with a directional jump.
• Cloudwalker - Passive: Grants the Monkey King a double jump (Spacebar/X). OFF: the jump will end with a slam into the ground which deals damage and slows enemies. DEF: he is able to walk on air following the double jump.
• 84,000 Hairs - When Wukong strikes a minion, hero or structure he will create a clone of himself. The clone cannot move and deals damage in a radius around itself. Damage dealt by clones is based on a percentage of Wukong’s damage.

We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this durable ranged attacker… Zinx. You’ll be able to play Zinx starting Tuesday, July 18. Get your first look at Zinx below.
After hundreds of failed attempts, the 348th was a perfect success. Zinx (Durable / Attacker / Controller / Seiger) was born. Zinx (Intellect, Growth) utilizes her mana to be extremely durable and deal deadly damage over time to her enemies.
• Bad Medicine - Zinx charges her gun and creates an AoE field of energy on the ground in front of her, can be discharged early to create a smaller field.
• Kitty Claws - Toggle: Empowers her Pistol allowing it to apply a damage over time effect, which can be stacked.
• Ricochet Stun - A Medium range projectile which bounces around nearby enemies, stunning them. The stun duration increases for each enemy hit.
• Dirty Healing - Passive: Zinx gains bonus mana regen, based on a percentage of her missing mana. Toggle: While activated, she will immediately heal 50% of damage taken, costing mana instead.

Epic Games’ MOBA Paragon enters “The New Dawn” with a massive, game-changing update
Today, Epic Games has released a major update to its free-to-play third-person MOBA, Paragon, now available in free Open Beta for PC and PlayStation 4. “The Dawn Update” comes with a complete rework of the game’s card/itemisation system, significantly speeds up gameplay, offers new player progression and rewards, and more.

A New Way to Build
“The New Dawn” brings an entirely new way for players to build Heroes. Players can explore 100 new cards with unique abilities, along with a brand new Gem system to augment Hero stats and unlock unique abilities. This new system puts an unlimited variety of power in players’ hands and comes with a completely new look and way to play.
Attack Faster
Attack speed has been increased and cooldowns have been reduced for all Heroes. This change embraces the level of immersion Epic set out to create with the launch of Paragon. Basic attacks and abilities feel snappier and more responsive than ever.
Balance Rebuilt; Iggy & Scorch Get an Upgrade
The entire gameplay balance has been rebuilt from the ground up. Every Hero, tower, and minion have new baseline stat attributes. Additionally, our friends Iggy & Scorch have gotten a complete rework. The pair’s abilities have changed from top to bottom, sporting new Turrets, a new attack, and a completely new Ultimate ability.
