【E3 16】《雷神之锤》系列新作《雷神之锤 冠军》释出宣传影片
Bethesda Softworks, a ZeniMax Media company, today announced Quake Champions, a competitive arena-style first-person shooter for the PC that will return fans to the frenetic, skill-based competition that made Quake an industry legend and solidified it as one of the first major eSports games.
In development at franchise-founding id Software, in conjunction with Saber Interactive, Quake Champions will deliver the mythos of the first Quake with the groundbreaking multiplayer mayhem of Quake III Arena. The game will also introduce a major new feature to the franchise – Champions – a roster of fierce warriors, each with unique attributes and abilities, which enable players to compete in their own distinctive style.
“20 years ago, Quake set new standards for multiplayer competition and pushed the boundaries for graphics and gameplay,” said Tim Willits, Studio Director, id Software. “It’s important to all of us at id Software that Quake Champions remains true to the Quake legacy, and delivers the speed and gameplay our long-time fans expect, while also pressing forward by introducing innovative gameplay opportunities with new Champions and abilities.”
Quake Champions continues id Software’s tradition of pushing the boundaries of modern technology and will deliver stunning graphics running at 120hz with unlocked frame rates. The game will make it easy for new players to learn while also delivering the challenge and competition 20-year Quake veterans expect.
Quake Champions is designed and built for eSports, integrating competitive features for professional and amateur levels of play. The game will be supported at tournaments and in leagues around the globe, including QuakeCon, the annual event that attracts tens of thousands of id Software fans and competitors to Dallas.
This year’s QuakeCon will be held August 4-7 and will be where id Software reveals more details about Quake Champions directly to its devoted fans. For more information about QuakeCon 2016 or to register to attend, please visit QuakeCon.org.作者: kirassss 时间: 2016-7-26 07:29 AM

Quake Champions Debut Gameplay Trailer & Screens

Quake Champions – Gameplay Trailer and New Details
During the QuakeCon 2016 keynote speech, id Software Studio Director Tim Willits took to the stage to unveil an armory of new Quake Champions details. The presentation was full of blazingly fast action, juicy gibs and explosive rocket jumps, and it closed out with the world premiere of the first Quake Champions gameplay trailer.
Willits gave those in attendance a quick look at the four Champions introduced in the announce trailer at E3 – franchise classics Ranger and Visor, and newcomers Nyx and Scalebearer. The audience was shown a series of quick vignettes exploring each of their abilities, which you can learn more about in this video. In addition to those four, Willits showed another returning Champion, Anarki, the lanky speed-demon with a sweet hoverboard. He also teased three more Champions (though he didn’t name names) and revealed that there will be at least a dozen to choose from when the game enters closed beta.
In true Quake fashion, you’ll have an arsenal of powerful and unique weapons, each of which will feel familiar to long-time Quake players. “No loadouts, no limit to the amount of guns you can carry,” Willits assured the crowd. “Time the weapon pickups, or kill your opponents. That’s how you get weapons in a Quake game.”
Willits also surprised the crowd with the announcement of the first public exhibition match of Quake Champions, to be held live on stage during the QuakeCon Finals Party on Saturday night. A select group of competitive players will face off to give attendees an exclusive preview of what to expect from the new Quake.
Quake Champions will be going into closed beta in 2017, so it won’t be too much longer before you’ll be able to get your hands on the heart-thumping arena-style FPS and see for yourself just how fast it is, running at 120hz with unlocked framerates.
With plans for leagues, tournaments and more, Quake Champions is poised to be an eSports powerhouse. Learn more about id Softwars’s approach to eSports in this interview with Tim Willits.

Bethesda Softworks and id Software have released the first in a series of “Arena” map trailers for Quake Champions. This one introduces Blood Covenant.
Here’s a full overview of the Blood Covenant Arena, via Bethesda:
Blood Covenant. Faceless monks tend its onyx-lined sluiceways, lest even a gobbet of the celebrants’ ichor should fail to reach their Ravening Shepherd.
The Bridge
Combat on the bridge consists of players using the high ground to shoot down on the players on the mid-level Balcony, while also defending against an influx of players from the lower Catacombs. In Sacrifice this becomes a difficult point to maintain control of, unless your team utilizes the side balconies to provide cover and flank attackers.
Side Balconies
Combat here consists of players using the Bridge as high ground to shoot down on the players on the mid-level Balcony, while defending against pushes from the lower Catacombs. In Sacrifice this becomes a difficult point to maintain control of, unless your team utilizes the side balconies to provide cover and flank attackers. This point will also receive heavy damage from attackers who control the Rail Curve. Maintaining control of this perimeter position ensures that while defending the Obelisk you can take your aggressors on both head-on and from behind.
Rail Curve
Controlling this hall will grant the defender easy access to both the Railgun and Mega Health (Deathmatch) or Heavy Armor (Sacrifice). This defender can then act as a gatekeeper, sharing access to these two items with their teammates when the defender has a large enough armor stack of their own to maintain control. When players defending this hall are challenged, one often has to seek an escape route downward to the mid-level or fall all the way to the Catacombs.
Catacombs
When action becomes too intense, the Catacombs are a great place to recharge or briefly hide out away. The cool downs in the curve are great for restoring your Active Ability, but the most important item is the Lightning Gun, a vital weapon for skilled players. The trip to the depths of the Catacombs is well worth the challenge of working your way back up. This area will get a lot of action with players feeding in from the Blood Pool or dropping down from the Rail Curve.
Blood Pool
The central HUB of the map, players in this area are susceptible to Railgun fire due to it being a large open area that connects to all main areas. It is common for players controlling the Rail Curve to fire across this main room picking off players moving from Balcony to Pillars or vice versa. Players who utilize the main central jumppad take a huge risk of being railed from near the Mega Health (DM) / Heavy Armor (Sacrifice), or risk Rocket and Shotgun fire from the high ground. This is often a necessary risk that will reward players with the high ground, rocket launcher, and access to the Bridge or the Upper Pillars.
Pillars
Across either the precarious pillars or the walkway along the wall lies a larger open fighting area behind the Statue of M’yriah. This high ground is very important as it is where the power-Up spawns. Both teams need to learn to gauge when the power-up will be spawning and position themselves so that they may be in the area just before it becomes available. Your team controlling the power-up is vital to maintaining control or turning the tide. Because this room lies between the two points, it should also be self-evident that this means your team cannot simply defend the Obelisk, but must also defend the perimeter rooms to keep powerful items from falling into the hands of your opponents.
The second trailer in Bethesda Softworks and id Software’s series of “Champion” character trailers for Quake Champions introduces Scalebearer.
Here’s a brief overview of Scalebearer, via Bethesda:
Having conquered countless worlds outside of the Arena, Scalebearer is a relentless Champion determined to lead you to victory. The galactic warlord’s active ability, Bull Rush, will let him charge head on against foes in Quake Champions. Take a look at the heavyweight in action in our latest Champion spotlight trailer.作者: kirassss 时间: 2017-3-22 10:52 PM 本帖最后由 kirassss 于 2017-3-23 06:45 PM 编辑
Quake Champions 'Burial Chamber' Arena Trailer
《雷神之锤 冠军》曝光竞技场宣传影片 熔岩包围的墓室中对决
Step into the Burial Chamber and face judgement in the latest Quake Champions trailer. From the wicked lava pools threatening to overtake the Arena, to the treacherous open spaces, nowhere is safe in the second Arena in our profile series (you can see Blood Covenant here). Skill is required to traverse this Arena, lest you find yourself tumbling to a molten death. Get your first look at Burial Chamber in this new video.
The bones of a massive beast decorate the entry to this massive tomb. Hazardous platforms at the Perilous Outcropping dot the sea of lava, providing an ideal sniping spot for those skilled enough and brave enough to make the leap. With its winding tunnels and low ceilings, the claustrophobic grave sites of the Molten Underground offer up the opportunity for heavier Champions to do some serious splash damage, while the Lava Falls could provide an excellent chokepoint for skilled tacticians. Just be careful to avoid being pushed into the lava, which is a prevalent threat throughout the map.
Along with Blood Covenant and Ruins of Sarnath, Burial Chamber will be available to check out in the upcoming Closed Beta, which you can sign up for right now.
Among the hardened warriors and alien conquerors inhabiting the Dreamlands, Anarki sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s tough to keep up with the transhuman punk when he’s blazing trails around the Arena on his hoverboard, but his speed is just one of the things that allow him to stand on the same level as Champions like Nyx and Scalebearer. Anarki is one of the Champions you’ll be able to try out during the Closed Beta.
You can see Anarki in action in our latest profile trailer. For more on Quake Champions or to sign up for beta, visit quake.com or follow the Quake Champions on social media:作者: kirassss 时间: 2017-4-4 11:01 PM 本帖最后由 kirassss 于 2017-4-5 04:29 PM 编辑

The fifth trailer in Bethesda Softworks and id Software’s series of “Champion” character trailers for Quake Champions introduces Clutch.
Here’s a brief overview of Clutch, via Bethesda:
Shield on! Clutch, the awakened automaton, joins the battle as the latest Champion out for blood in Quake Champions. Built initially as a mining robot, Clutch was altered into an organic killing machine after a network malfunction during a routine data transfer. Now its only mission is to destroy all signs of life within the Arenas.作者: kirassss 时间: 2017-4-19 10:54 PM 本帖最后由 kirassss 于 2017-4-20 07:25 AM 编辑
Quake Champions 'Galena' Champion Trailer

The sixth trailer in Bethesda Softworks and id Software’s series of “Champion” character trailers for Quake Champions introduces Galena.
Here’s a brief overview of Galena, via Bethesda:
Galena is a healer and a warrior, skilled in both giving and taking life. Raised in the Dreamlands, where she faces off against Champions from across the waking world in twisted Arenas, Galena is a force to be reckoned with. Watch the Unholy Paladin dole out divine punishment in the latest Quake Champions profile trailer.作者: kirassss 时间: 2017-4-26 10:28 PM Quake Champions ‘Ruins of Sarnath’ Arena trailer
The third in Bethesda Softworks and id Software’s series of “Arena” map trailers for Quake Champions introduces Ruins of Sarnath.
Here’s a full overview of the Ruins of Sarnath Arena, via Bethesda:
Enter the ruins of the temple of Sarnath. Untold epochs have passed since the slime-slick stairs were heaved upward from their inky depths, to be swabbed by the tears of tribute.
Ziggurat Base
One of the central areas in the ruins is home to a Heavy Nailgun, Lightning Gun, and a Light Armor. Defenders will want to try and use the high ground to neutralize the effects of the Rocket Launcher, while attackers may want to coordinate entering through several entrances in order to split defender attention. The two jumppads in the corners provide an entrance with some cover, although care must be taken when trying to enter from the Cistern as it is a bit more tight and susceptible to splash damage.
Temple Mask
The Temple Mask is where you’ll find the second Obelisk. This room is also notable for the T-shaped pillar that can be shot in order to temporarily sink it into the ground. Players coming in will have the high-ground, but the defensive positions will have cover to their advantage, and possible exit routes through the Portico and the Antechamber.
Portal Antechamber
A simple room, but important as it contains a teleporter that brings you near the powerup near the Eye of Cthalha. Its two exits bring you to either side of the wall near the mask, allowing attackers to flank players who are holding back too much.
Cistern
Featuring the Railgun in the center of the room, the Cistern is a dangerous area that allows quick transit to most of the arena. A jumpad out will lead you directly onto the high ground in the Ziggurat Base, but the high arc of the jump is much more likely to leave you for railbait.
Eye of Cthalha
The watchful Eye of Cthalha sits underneath alternating Quad Damage and Protection Power-Ups. Even when the Power-Ups haven’t yet spawned, you’ll still want to hold onto this room to control the Mega Health, with the ability to easily restock the Rocket Launcher. If you ignore this room entirely, you may find yourself imprisoned in the swinging cage above.
Sluiceway
Sitting directly between the Mask and the Ziggurat is where you’ll find the Heavy Armor, in this very tall two-story room. Hanging around in here too long without a charged Dire Orb allowing you to teleport to the top floor without making a risky Rocket Jump is not advised. The Sluiceway offers an alternate connection to the Super Shotgun room and into the Cistern.
Super Shotgun Curve
This easily holdable area works great as a means to stage an attack on the Ziggurat Base. Although light on resources, you’ll find yourself adjacent to the Railgun and Heavy Armor. The jumppad in the back leads to an area with some amount of cover, making it one of the safer places to pop up from.
The seventh trailer in Bethesda Softworks and id Software’s series of “Champion” character trailers for Quake Champions introduces Ranger.
Here’s a brief overview of Ranger, via Bethesda:
From his origins in the original Quake, to his time spent in the bloody halls of Quake III Arena, Ranger is a legendary character who’s returning to once again wreak havoc in the arenas of Quake Champions. With his Dire Orb active ability Ranger can teleport to impossible ledges, dodge incoming attacks and much more.

Quake Champions is a frenetic test of skill and the ultimate competitive game. The purest form of this proving ground is Duel mode, a 1-v-1 showdown to decide who is best, once-and-for-all. Check out the video showcasing Quake Champions’ new Duel mode here.
Duel mode introduces an additional layer of strategy to Quake Champions, incorporating multiple Champions with differing Abilities. To start, players will select three Champions in a snake-style draft before heading to the Arenas. In choosing their roster, players will have to consider which Champions are better suited to their unique playstyle and which are effective counters to their opponents’ choices.
Taking a cue from fighting games, Duel is played as a best-of-three match. There are three total rounds, and in each round, a player has to defeat all three of the opponent’s Champions. When a player is fragged, they will respawn as another of their chosen Champions. When one player has eliminated all three of the opposing Champions, a winner for that round is declared.
Reminder: The Quake Champions Large Scale Test Tech is now live and will run until May 21. The Tech Test is welcoming all players and includes Duel mode as well as the new team-based competitive mode, Sacrifice. Players who want to join in the fragfest can head to Quake.com to sign up and receive a key.
The ninth trailer in Bethesda Softworks and id Software’s series of “Champion” character trailers for Quake Champions introduces Sorlag.
Here’s a brief overview of Sorlag, via Bethesda:
Sorlag was born and bred for one purpose: Hunt the warmbloods. After being pulled into the Dreamlands, she continues to hone her skills, tracking down her opponents in the Arenas and slaughtering them without mercy. With her toxic acid spit, she’s able to lay down damage-dealing traps to sway a fight to her advantage.作者: kirassss 时间: 2017-6-12 03:09 PM

Quake Champions Heads to Early Access August 22
Next Tuesday, August 22, id Software’s incredible multiplayer fragfest, Quake Champions, will officially exit the Closed Beta phase and enter into Early Access on Steam and through the Bethesda.net launcher, bringing with it a host of new content, including new maps, features, and a special new Champion – the mighty DOOM Slayer from id Software’s hit game, DOOM.
Players who want to jump in and frag their way to global dominance will be able to buy the Champions Pack, which will unlock all current and future Champions as well as other exclusive in-game bonuses for £19.99, discounted from the final retail price of £29.99.
“With a fast, skill-based game like Quake Champions, nothing is more important than continual testing and refining, based on player feedback, to ensure the game is balanced, optimized, and fun for all levels of players, from pro to new,” said Tim Willits, Studio Director, id Software. “The Early Access version of Quake Champions is, obviously, a work-in-progress, but represents a solid and robust version of the game, with four modes, 11 Champions, a variety of maps, and a thriving community of fans. Early Access will allow us to work closely with players to improve the game and add additional features before the official launch of Quake Champions in the coming months.”
The Champions Pack
To play Quake Champions during Early Access, players can buy the Champions Pack, which includes:
• All 11 current Champions, including Ranger, Visor, Scalebearer, Nyx, Anarki, Clutch, Sorlag, Galena, Slash, BJ Blazkowicz from id Software’s Wolfenstein, and the new DOOM Slayer
• All future Champions, including at least six additional Champions expected to release before the end of 2018, and any that follow
• An exclusive Early Access skin for series diehard Ranger, available only during the Early Access period for Champions Pack players
• Three Reliquaries (loot chests containing three in-game items for profile, Champion, and weapon customization, like skins, shaders, nameplates, and more)
Quake Champions’ free-to-play version will launch at a later date. However, players who previously redeemed a Closed Beta key will be able to continue playing Quake Champions in free-to-play mode, only via Bethesda.net. These players will play on the same servers as Champions Pack owners and have the option of upgrading to the Champions Pack or buying additional Champions at any time. Players new to Quake Champions will need to either buy the Champions Pack or wait until free-to-play mode launches at a later date.
Put a little DOOM in Your Quake!
Quake Champions’ newest playable Champion, DOOM Slayer, comes straight from the depths of hell to the Arenas, wielding his pounding fists and a deadly hunger for blood. Fans of DOOM can run amok using DOOM Slayer’s Active Ability – Berserk – smashing enemies into bloody piles of gibs with his bare hands. DOOM Slayer’s passive will also be familiar to DOOM fans - Double Jump - allowing him to jump a second time while in the air.
Additional Content and Features Going Live at Early Access
Quake Champions Early Access will also introduce a host of new content and features for players, including:
• Two New Maps: Church of Azathoth and Tempest Shrine
• The New Champion: DOOM Slayer
• Rune Challenges: Players will be rewarded for completing new Rune Challenges found in backpacks
• Lore System: Players will find Lore Items hidden throughout Arenas in vases. By collecting all 10 Lore Items for a specific Champion, they will unlock that Champion’s high-end Lore Skin
• Improved New Player Onboarding: New features to help get fresh fraggers up to speed include a movement tutorial, shooting gallery, and the ability to choose a skill level
• New Customization Options: New options include new Champion skin sets and weapon shaders
Everyone can now join the fast-paced frag frenzy of Quake Champions, absolutely FREE! You heard right - announced during QuakeCon 2018, Quake Champions is now available for all players to download and play for free on Bethesda.net and Steam.
This isn’t a trial or a limited-time event, this is free-to-play Quake Champions!
Is this the full release of Quake Champions?
With several new Champions, modes and features that we’ve built upon throughout Early Access with community feedback, we feel like now is the perfect time to open the doors to Quake Champions. However, there is still additional polish, improvements and new content - like the upcoming Capture the Flag mode - that we want to get into the game before we declare it “fully released.”
Quake Champions will remain in Early Access for the time being, but now we’re opening up feedback and input to everyone. Play the game, tell us what you think and help shape Quake Champions into the best FPS it can be!
What do I get with F2P access?
Free-to-play players get access to all Quickplay, Ranked and Arcade game modes and maps currently available in Early Access, plus two free Champions: Ranger and Scalebearer. New players can unlock more Champions by completing the in-game tutorial and by earning Favor — in-game currency used to unlock Champions and Backpacks — just by playing matches!
Additionally, there’s one free Champion on rotation every week. Try them all out and see which ones fit your playstyle. Once you’ve found a new favorite, you can purchase Champions to own using Platinum, Quake Champions’ premium currency.
Get started in style with the Champions Pack
For a limited time, you also can pick up the Champions Pack, which grants access to all current Champions and instantly unlocks every Champion released in the future. Players who purchase the Champions Pack also get the ability to create Custom Matches for you and your friends, plus some sweet in-game goodies like the exclusive “Gladiator Ranger” skin.
To make it easier than ever to dive into the Arena, we’re discounting the Champions Pack to just $19.79 for the duration of QuakeCon! After that, the Champions Pack will cost $29.99 USD for a limited time, but hurry — this deal will revert back to its original $39.99 USD price tag on September 4, 2018.
