Weapons Triangle
—Stun Gauge
Fighting with an advantage weapon will increase the damage dealt to the enemy, as well as lower their golden Stun Gauge.
—Critical Hit
By lowering the Stun Gauge, you can deal great damage with a “Critical Hit.” If you use an advantage weapon, its power will be even greater.
Weapon Efficacy
Attack specific enemies with weapons of particular efficacy to deal tremendous damage.
Movement
—Mount Characters
Great Knight and Pegasus Knight characters can move around quickly on horseback. They also have exciting attacks that make use of riding and flying.
—Flying Routes
Depending on the map, there may be areas that can only be passed with a flight unit. Use these to your advantage to more efficiently progress.
Tactics: Instruction
The heroes’ advance route can always be changed during the course of the battle. Make adjustments based on the situation to better advance on the battlefield.
Tactics: Leave it To Them
You can set actions for when you are not providing instruction or for after they have achieved their instructions.
Tactics: Character Change
You can switch between four characters on the battlefield at any time.
Bonds: Bond System
By fighting alongside heroes, your bonds with them will depen. If you level up, you may receive reards and be able to see bond conversations.
Bonds: Lost
Heroes injured on the battlefield will be lost and cannot be used in the battles that follow, so caution is necessary.

If you choose “Pair Up” when the character you’re controlling approaches a comrade, they will become a vanguard and rear guard pair, and fight while working together.
—Dual Attack
When in the Pair Up state, a “Dual Attack Gauge” will appear. By filling up the gauge, you can trigger a “Dual Attack” that breaks the enemy’s guard.
—Dual Guard
Just like the Dual Attack Gauge, a “Dual Guard Gauge” appears when in the Pair Up state. By filling this up, you can trigger a “Dual Guard” that completely negates the enemy’s attack.
—Dual Ougi
By filling up the vanguard and rear guard’s Musou Gauges when in the Pair Up state, you can trigger the “Dual Ougi” cooperative technique. Depending on the combination and bond between the two characters, their voiced dialogue will change.

A Tome attack effective against enemies with low magical defense such as Knights.

Koei Tecmo announced plans to release downloadable content for Fire Emblem Warriors at Tokyo Game Show 2017.
Three add-ons are planned:
End of 2017 – Fire Emblem Fates Add-On Pack (1,400 yen)
Winter 2018 – Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon Add-On Pack (1,400 yen)
Spring 2018 – Fire Emblem Awakening Add-On Pack (1,400 yen)
Each pack will include multiple playable characters and weapons.

Following an announcement for Japan at Tokyo Game Show 2017 this past weekend, Nintendo has announced the release window and prices of the Fire Emblem Warriors downloadable content for North America.

Season Pass (Oct. 20, $19.99): The Fire Emblem Warriors Season Pass includes all three DLC packs, which become available as they release. Each DLC pack is filled with new playable characters and weapons. By purchasing the Season Pass for either the Nintendo Switch or New Nintendo 3DS version, players will receive a bridal costume for Lucina.
DLC Pack #1 (Dec 2017, $8.99): The content in this pack is inspired by Fire Emblem Fates.

The version 1.2 update for Fire Emblem Warriors will launch on November 16, Koei Tecmo announced. It will add a new History Map, weapon attribute, and more.
Here’s the full list of changes, via the official Japanese website:
History Map: “Hero Contest”
Adds the new History Map “Hero Contest,” where Rowan and Lianna battle against various heroes in an arena setting.
Weapon Attribute: “Armor Piercer Blow”
Adds the new weapon attribute “Armor Piercer Blow.” The enemy hit by a weapon with this attribute will enter an “armor break” state that lowers their defense and resistance. However, if you are hit by the enemy with a strong attack, you will enter the armor break state.
Disrobe
When Rowan and Lianna enter the armor break state, their character models will change as to destroy the equipment they are wearing.
New Costumes
The “Gold Prince” costume has been added for Rowan, and the “Gold Princess” costume has been added for Lianne.
Other
Support for the free downloadable content “English Voice Pack” (available via the Nintendo eShop).
New blessings have been added to the temple.
Bulk sale of weapons added.

Following its announcement last week, Nintendo has released the version 1.2 update for Fire Emblem Warriors, adding a new History Mode map, weapon attribute, costumes, and more.

A new History Mode map, Hero Challenge, has been added.
A new weapon attribute, Armor Strike, has been added, allowing you to inflict a Broken Armor state on enemies.
New costumes for Lianna and Rowan have been added, including special Broken Armor appearances.
New blessings have been added.
The Sell Weapons screen has been improved, allowing you to sell multiple weapons at once.
Various bug fixes.

Koei Tecmo has updated the official Japanese website for Fire Emblem Warriors with information and screenshots on the game’s upcoming “DLC Pack #1 – Fire Emblem Fates,” which is due out on December 21 in Japan, and in December in North America and Europe.

Azura
Voiced by: Lynn
Weapon: Lance
Class: Songstress
Azura can restore the Musou and Awakening Gauges of nearby ally characters by singing a song.
With Oboro’s “Counter” character skill, she can guard against an enemy’s heavy attack to generate a shock wave, as well as display the enemy’s stun gauge.
With Niles’ “Annihilation” character skill, the damage dealt by a critical hit increases dramatically if you are lucky.

Grieving Beast
Azura’s mysterious song engulfs Corrin, who lost his mind and runs wild.
The Country Where the Gods Sit
Corrin’s party meets a girl with a face similar to the Demon King in a country while searching for siblings.

In order to conquer the village of the Ice Tribe, Corrin joins forces with a strange duo.

“Mantle” – A weapon trait that further strengthens the attack power of character-exclusive wapons.
“Swordbreaker,” “Axebreaker,” “Lancebreaker,” “Bowbreaker,” “Tomebreaker,” “Dragonstonebreaker,” and “Talonbreaker” – Weapon traits that increase the amount of damage dealt against enemies that possess a specific weapon.

“Bond Amulet” – By equipping this instead of a staff or vulnerary, you can develop your bonds more easily.
◆ Additional Bonding Conversations
Bonding conversations with the new playable characters have been added.
■ Version 1.3.0 Update (Launches December 21)
Additional Weapon Rank – Adds the “Hero” weapon rank, which is higher than the “Brave” weapon rank:
Character Level Limit Increase – Increases the character level limit to 110.
Additional Weapon Trait: Attacktaker – Increases the damage dealt for every 100 enemies you defeat. (This can be obtained via a random drop.)
Additional Blessings – The following blessings have been added to the Temple:

KOEI TECMO Games 宣布，9 月 28 日推出的 Nintendo Switch / New N3DS 战术动作游戏《Fire Emblem 无双》，自今（21）日开始释出第 1 波付费 DLC「圣火降魔录 if 追加包」。
Nintendo has released the version 1.3 update and “DLC Pack #1 – Fire Emblem Fates” for Fire Emblem Warriors.

The “DLC Pack #1 – Fire Emblem Fates” add-on includes new playable characters Azura, Oboro, and Niles in addition to new History Mode maps, new support conversations, new costumes, a new item, and new weapons.

Fire Emblem Warriors add-on “DLC Pack #2 – Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon” will launch on February 14 at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET, Nintendo announced. It will cost $8.99 / $11.59 CAD standalone, and is also part of the $19.99 / $25.79 CAD Season Pass.

Her character skill, “Iote’s Shield,” negates any enemy effectiveness.

The steep mountains that pass through Samsooth. This mountain where bandits hang out has come to be known as “Devil Mountain.”

Maximum Character Level Increase
Increases the maximum character level from 110 to 130.
Weapon Skills
“Critical Specialist” Effect – Makes it easier to deplete the enemy’s Stun Gauge.

A mysterious swordsman seeking the legendary divine sword “Mystletainn” shows up in a certain village.
Exalt Emmeryn
Chrome and company, who visited Plegia in order to rescue Emmeryn, come across a shaman who re-chants a suspicious spell.

While Plegia soldiers withdrew from the battlefield, the figure of a determined, lone dancer heading towards the battlefield appeared.

“Rightful God” – Increases weapon attack power to match that of a Hero Weapon, and negates the disadvantages of an effectiveness weapon skill. (This can be obtained via a random drop.)
Blessings – The following blessings have been added to the Temple:
“Speed Blessing” and “Luck Blessing” Effects – Increases the corresponding stats of all party members.
“Heal Blessing” Effect – Automatically recovers the HP of all party members over time.
“Transporter Blessing” Effect – Increases the amount of materials you can obtain through drops.
“Craftsman Blessing” Effect – Increases the amount of weapons you can obtain through drops, as well as their level, quality, and number of skills.
“Common Materials Blessing” Effect – Makes common materials easier to drop.
Additional Elements – The following additional elements have been added to the Temple:
“Informal Blessing” – By receiving this blessing, the levels of all enemies in battle will become 150.
“Tactician Blessing” – By receiving this blessing, the battle will enter a “Tactician Mode” where the player-controlled character can only deal zero damage, making it a fight can only be cleared via NPC instruction.
(Informal Blessing and Tactician Blessing will be added to the “Blessings” menu at the Temple.)
“Level Reset” – Level Reset has been added to the Temple menu. Depending on the level of the selected character, you can revert to Level 1 instead of receiving materials.
Other
Switch Version: Support for the video capture feature.
Adds feature to start the battle with the same blessings as the previous battle. (Materials will be automatically consumed. This can be turned on or off via “Auto Blessing Continuation” in the settings.)
User interface improvements for the Battle Results screen.
Bug fixes.
