这是我写的。。。能score吗？......it was the first period of the day.There was someone was not paying his attention to teacher.It was James!He could not stop himself from thinking the haunted story that he listened from his friends yesterday.It was local haunted story.James was a timid teenager. He was not as strong as his peers, physically and mentally. However he/ was often concerned with face-saving/ could be egoistic and he would never do anything to humiliate himself. After he had passed his final examination with flying colours , his friend, John schemed to explore the local haunted mystery. It was a dilapidated mansion,abandoned for ages. He invited several friends to join his adventure. Certainly, James was drawn in.

Two days had passed and on the second gloomy night, the adventurous friends arrived at the huge rundown mansion. The verandah was filled with thick layers of dirt and debris. James felt a sense of dread as he walked further in. The others were intimidated by the atmosphere of gloom. There were cobwebs everywhere,hanging down like heavy curtains,bothering them as they ventured in. A door slammed shut out of the blue,with a loud bang and scared them out of their wits . It took them a few seconds to regain their composure. James tried to open a door but it was wedged tight. They had no choice but to continue on down another corridor. John and Satin took out their torchlights to illuminate their way in through the dark shadows. Jason produced his camera to take photos or videos of the entire mansion.

When they stepped into the living room, there was a lot of old,ragged furniture. Meanwhile / At the same time, Jason was recording something which had shown up in his screen and he was suddenly trembling with fear. He double checked the video but the picture in the screen became blur. Jason started to have cold feet but he kept silent, not wanting to put fear in his friends' heart. Unknowingly, James and his friends climbed the stairs to the second floor.

As they reached the landing, a little girl in white, abruptly appeared right in front of them and scared the pants off them. Trembling but curious, brave John edged inch by inch towards to have a closer look at her. The girl gradually raised her head, revealing a pale face with hollow eyes and an open mouth crawling with stomach-turning maggots. He was instantly stunned and was frozen on the spot. When the others shone their torchlights at her, they could see her clearly... An apparition! Without a word/ Wordlessly, they took to their heels, all except John.

Seeing that John was still standing motionless, Satin grabbed hold of his arm with a vice-like grip and pulled him along as they ran. James, ran like hell, without perceiving that he was actually going deeper and deeper into the mansion. Jason, extremely shocked, unconsciously tossed away his rolling camera. Meanwhile, the bold Satin did not let go of her grip on John. A sudden feeling of appreciation pervaded his soul. The spirit of the little girl started fading away. As John stuck close to Satin, he could feel her warm breaths and he could not help himself glancing at her exquisite visage as they sought James and Jason. When they bumped into the others, level-headed Satin led them to the exit.

Early next morning, the young adventurers felt awkward when their parents did not seem to notice their presence , as if they were not there. Shortly after , the four of them found themselves in front of the mansion. There was a confusing commotion of the policemen,paramedics and forensic team, with the wailing sounds of the police cars and ambulances. The paramedics were carrying out stretchers of dead bodies. Without any hesitation, the four young friends found themselves drawn towards the stretchers. Only then, they realized that they were looking at their own corpses. It took them sometime to remember / recollect that they were already ...Dead........ The only thing that was left were their wandering souls, possibly seeking redemption! Watch out should you happen to chance upon them!
