Homefront: The Revolution 'Merits' Program Announced, 'Hearts and Minds 101' Trailer

   

Deep Silver Announces The 'Merits' Program and Releases the 'Hearts and Minds 101' Featurette for Homefront: The Revolution

Deep Silver today unveiled the Homefront: The Revolution 'Merits' program, a reward plan for members of the Homefront community.

Anyone can simply go to Homefront-Game.com and begin earning Merits by completing missions on the site to dive deeper into the lore of the universe. Each Merit earned unlocks a corresponding piece of Combat Gear from the Red Rebel set, which can be used to customize your co-op character in Resistance Mode.

Once merits are achieved, players will see the associated in-game Combat Gear unlock by linking their Homefront profile to their Xbox Live, PSN or Steam account. Seven merits are currently available at the launch of this program, with more to come between now and when Homefront: The Revolution launches on May 17 in North America.

In addition, the new 'Hearts and Minds 101' featurette showcases how players can perform actions in the open world – the red, yellow, and green zones - in Homefront: The Revolution, and earn the support of the oppressed population of occupied Philadelphia through unique gameplay mechanics.

Through Hearts and Minds, the player’s actions have a direct effect on the world around them, with an ultimate goal: Ignite a Revolution.

　　在《国土防线2：革命》中有三种类别的区域，分别是红、黄以及绿区。红色是激烈交战区；黄色代表相对安全的美国居民区；而绿色则是被外军牢牢掌控的区域。之所以会发生朝鲜控制美国的情况，几乎是因为美国引进了大量朝鲜智能武器装备，而这些武器全部有后门控制，结果朝鲜竟然轻而易举的利用美国引进的武器控制了美国！

Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios today revealed the all-new backstory to Homefront: The Revolution by releasing the opening cinematic to the game, titled "America Has Fallen."

A reimagined alternate history dating back to ashes of the Korean War documents the fall of one global superpower and the rise of another, driven by the ruthless APEX Corporation in a world with chilling parallels to our own.

"The core premise of Homefront - an occupation on American soil - remains unchanged," said Hasit Zala, Game Director at Dambuster Studios. "But we have created a brand new fiction that offers a very different interpretation of how we got there."

　　Deep Silver 预定于 2016 年 5 月 19 日推出的 PS4／Xbox One 版开放世界型 FPS 新作《烽火家园：革命》（HOMEFRONT the Revolution），日前公布最新宣传影片，介绍反抗军领导人杰克． 帕里胥，以资深活动家身份协助伊森的黛娜． 摩尔，从一开始就投入与 KPA 对战的前将军克劳福德，镇压革命运动的大朝鲜联邦爪牙辛普森市长，以及被认为是故事中的关键人物班杰明． 沃克等反抗军及 KPA 主要登场人物，为拯救美国而展开的革命运动正蓄势待发。

　　发行商Deep Silver公布《烽火家园：革命》将有三个单人内容DLC，其中一个大型DLC扩展包将于2017年上市。

　　首先到来的两个单人DLC分别叫「自由之声」和「余波」（The Voice of Freedom and Aftermath ），分别带来一些可探索的新地区，和数个小时的游戏内容。之后2017年的那个大型DLC叫做「城墙之外」（Beyond the Walls），目前细节暂未公布。

　　这三个DLC都包含在游戏季票内，玩家只能通过购买69.99英镑的「自由战士捆绑包」数字版游戏才能获得。3个DLC单独售价暂未公开。除了单人DLC外，官方还有大量新的合作任务DLC推出，不过后者都是免费的，首个合作任务将于6月份到来。开发商Dambuster说《烽火家园：革命》发售后第一年内他们会免费推出“高品质的追加内容和补丁”。

Homefront: The Revolution is Available Today in North America

Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios today proudly announce the release of their new epic first person shooter, Homefront: The Revolution.

Available today in North America and May 20th throughout the rest of the world, players will be able to immerse themselves in this truly unique story-driven shooter. Taking the role of a resistance fighter that is outgunned and outmatched, fight to liberate Philadelphia from oppression and its occupying forces.

"With Homefront: The Revolution, we deliver a reboot of the Homefront IP, a brand new open world shooter game with asymmetric, guerilla warfare. Not only that, we also deliver with it a deep story about defending our values, defending our country, defending our society, and that is as current as it can be," said Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media.

Revealed today are also further details on the Expansion Pass. The Homefront: The Revolution Expansion Pass includes access to the three single-player campaign expansions. It also unlocks exclusive bonuses for use in Homefront's online co-operative experience, 'Resistance Mode.'

Coming in 2016, The Voice of Freedom and Aftermath will both add new districts and several hours of original single-player content that complement Homefront's huge 30-hour campaign. A much larger expansion - Beyond the Walls - will follow in 2017, with more details to come.

Expansion Pass holders also benefit from these Resistance Mode perks:

• 'Supply Line' entitles players to a FREE Resistance Crate each week, just for logging into Resistance Mode

• 'The Right Kind of School' unlocks three new starting backgrounds for your Resistance Mode character: 'ATF Agent', 'G-Man' and 'U.S. Marshall'

In addition to the epic 30-hour single player campaign, Homefront's online co-operative 'Resistance Mode' will launch with six Missions, with the first set of new Missions set to arrive in June. All additional Resistance Mode missions will be FREE, and Dambuster Studios are committed to delivering high quality added content updates for the first year at no extra cost.
