The highly anticipated annual Suntec Dance competition, Suntec Dance is back and this time the prizes are much more attractive!

We wish to invite you to register and participate in any of the following categories to stand to win prizes totaling a value of $37,000!

The competition is open to:

Junior Solo Category : Individual 12 years old and below for Junior Solo Category
Open Solo Category  : Individual 13 years old and above for Open Solo Category
Group Category       : 4 to 8 members of any age

Competition Rules

1. This competition is open to:

a. Individual 12 years old and below for Junior Solo Category
b. Individual 13 years old and above for Open Solo Category
c. Maximum of 8 members of any age for Group Category

2. Registration will be closed on 9 August 2009 (Sun), 945pm. Early submission is encouraged
and late submission will not be entertained.

3. All participants must sign and return the Indemnity Form(s) to the organiser. Participants below
21 years old are required to obtain the written consent of their parent / guardian and return the
Contest Form duly signed by their parent / guardian, together with the Indemnity Form duly
signed by their parent / guardian.

4. All participants must adhere to and be willing to perform on the competition dates scheduled by
the organiser.

5. All participants are required to compete in the following rounds held on:
a. Audition Round: 15 August 2009 (Sat), 1pm at Galleria Square.
b. Heat Round : 29 August 2009 (Sat), 1pm at Galleria Square
c. Semi-Final : 5 September 2009 (Sat), 1pm at Galleria Square
d. Grand Finals : 20 September 2009 (Sat), 5pm at Fountain of Wealth

6. 15 participants and/or groups from each category of Heat will proceed to Semi-Final and
amongst these, only 10 participants and/or groups from each category will compete in
Suntec Dance 2009 Grand Finals on 20 September 2009 (Sun) at Fountain of Wealth.

7. In the event of bad weather, the competition will be delayed and should bad weather persist,
Grand Finals will be postponed to 27 September 2009 (Sun).

8. The organiser reserves the right to change the time and venue should the need arise without prior
warning.

9. All performing apparel, performing stage names and music must not bear offensive/vulgar
language or insignia. Apparel and performance must not be overly revealing.

10. All participants must provide their own protective gear should such required.

11. All participants are required to report to the venue at least ONE hour prior to the commencement
of competition. No latecomers will be entertained.

12. All participants must provide their own tracks in CD format and bring along 2 copies of the tracks.
Participants will have to bring their own MD player and cables if MD format is used. No cassettes
are allowed.

13. Duration of each dance item must not exceed 2 minutes for Solo Category and 3 minutes
for Group Category. Participants will be penalised should they exceed the time limit.

14. The competition will be judged based on the following criteria:
a. Choreography – 40% (Originality 20%, Creativity 20%)
b. Dance Skills – 40% (Technique 15%, Execution & Synchronisation 15%, Coordination
10%)
c. Stage Presence – 20% (Audience Impact 10%, Costume & Appearance 10%)

15. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.

16. The organiser, partners and sponsors shall be under no liability whatsoever to the participants, in
respect of any loss, damage or injury suffered by the participants arising from or pursuant to
her/his participation in the competition or for any loss, damage or injury to life or property
sustained by the participant at any stage of the competition, unless such loss, damage or injury is
caused by the organiser’s partner’s or sponsor’s gross and wilful negligence.

17. The organiser will not be held responsible for any expenditure incurred by any participants of the
competition.

18. The organiser reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations without prior notice.

本地最夯的街舞狂飙大赛《舞极限》旋风再袭，今年的公开面试活动更扬着“无国界，舞极限”的旗子，史无前例地开放给所有年龄15岁或以上，不分种族和国籍的街舞狂热分子报名参加，一轧舞技。

由Astro本地圈制作及主办、Gatsby主要赞助、MY FM为指定电台的《舞极限》已确定邀请台湾星级编舞老师 -- 蓝波担任选拔赛至决赛的评审。成功晋级半决赛的参赛者还有机会接受蓝波老师的专业舞蹈训练，挑战新颖且高难度的街舞技巧和动作，与不同国籍的街舞高手互相切磋，展开舞艺大对决。

《舞极限》的五大街舞技巧挑战包括Break Dance、Popping、Locking、New Jack Swing和New School Hip Hop。有别于往年，今年的《舞极限》不仅向街舞新人王招手，也欢迎所有曾经参与或晋级决赛的队伍再度回来挑战街舞极限。来自不同国籍的街舞达人与众“舞”林高手的正面交锋，相信足以增添今年比赛的可看性。

1. All entries must reach the organizer by 25 Oct 2009.

3. Entries submitted after the stipulated timing will not be qualified.

5. Incomplete or intangible entries will be disqualified. The organizer reserves full and sole right to disqualify any entry which it deems to include content that are unlawful, profane, inflammatory, defamatory and/or damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the organizer.
6. Entrant must inform organizer immediately should there be any change in their contact details during the event period.
7. Music length – 3-5 minutes
8. Each dancer available to join more than 1 team
9. The Management of organizer is not liable for any losses, injuries, cost or expenses incurred during this event.
10. Organizer has the full rights to publish photographic portraits and/or pictures of the participants and events in all forms of media and channels for advertising, marketing and promotional purposes.
11. Prize(s) must be accepted as provided, not transferable or exchangeable for cash/other items and subject to the terms and conditions set by the organizers.
12. All prize winners must endorse the acknowledgement form by the organizer to receive their prize(s).
13. Prizes not collected by the stipulated date will be forfeited.

《007 Evolution•反斗占士邦》舞蹈剧

一部由新纪元学院《舞法舞天》舞团带来的舞蹈与戏剧大型舞蹈剧。
从舞台技术、服装设计、公关宣传、筹募款项、音响至短片制作等等都是由本社团会员们一手包办，除了可以实践课堂上知识，更能发挥会员们各自的专业以及合作精神。

故事大纲：1973年，一个极度繁华却也极度动荡的上海滩年代，盛行着的是黑社会、黑势力。
为了保卫社会的安宁，特务研究所派出了一位玉树临风、风流成性、运动白痴、
傻头傻脑但却好运到爆的特务—007来捕捉大流氓—马特里斯。
另一边箱，从小就无恶不作的马特里斯却早已料到会有007这一号人物，
并且也已设好陷阱来“招待”这位贵宾。
搞笑的“撞彩”007究竟要如何对付黑暗的世纪大流氓呢？他，是否能全身而退呢？

Twister 舞蹈鉴定考试＋校内舞蹈赛

日期：2009 年 9 月 21 日（星期一 , 公共假期）
时间：2 点正开始
地点：Sutera Mall 中央舞台

内容：

1.Twister Grade 3 & 4 舞蹈晋级考

－通过 Twister Grade 2 晋级考的 Dancer 们，将在这一天参与 Grade 3 & 4 舞蹈晋级考。舞蹈考試的考验为：自编2－3分钟的舞步，通晓2至3种街舞风格的舞蹈，自剪接舞蹈音乐，舞台上的 Solo 能力。

－要通过考試的考验，Twister Dancer 们必须接触并精通最少 3 种街舞舞蹈，必须学会剪接音乐，必须 Solo 拥有独自站在舞台上呈现自己舞蹈创作的勇气，最重要的是培养积极努力的奋斗精神。

－在这一天，大家可以看到他们为梦想而努力付出的精神，看到他们的舞蹈创作结果。无论成败，见证此刻最认真的 Dancer .

－成功晋级的 Dancer 将在明年参与 Grade 4 ,5 的晋级考。通过 Grade 5 晋级考的 Dancer 将可以成为 Twister 的正式老师，以及获得出国深造的 Twister 奖学金。

2. Twister 舞蹈校内赛

－Twister 老师们硬硬的将 Dancer 们随意分组，组成了 5 组参赛队伍。5间来自不同学院的 Dancers，不分男女/年龄/舞风，只要是人，就分散凑成一组被逼参加校内赛。哈～

－队伍里面有男有女，有只会跳 Break Dance 的 B-Boy , 有只会跳 Popping 的 Popper , 有只会 Jazz 和 Reggae 的美女，有Cute Cute 的小胖胖，有各式各样的 Dancers ~ Twister 老师们故意将不同舞风不同类型的 Dancers 安排进同一组，目的是为了考验他们的合作精神，考验他们如何将不同的舞风透过合作精神呈现在比赛舞台上，考验他们积极度，考验他们的对于比赛及组团的应对能力，最重要的是培养他们成为将来出色的参赛团体～

－5 组参赛队伍都必须自己排舞，剪歌，练习～全部靠自己，老师们完全没有不能协助，Dancer们只能靠本身的能力，得到最高荣衔。

－听说目前仍有队伍还未编完舞蹈，筹备的过程困难重重，有些Dancer很有能力的协助编舞剪歌的工作，但有些 Dancer 却很懒散不积极练舞，有些 Dancer 对于各种舞风胜任有余，有些 Dancer 则沒办法跳好其他舞风的舞步，有些 Dancer 很沮丧，有些 Dancer 却很期待～

- Dancer们秘密练兵，所以我并不晓得究竟这 5 组 Dancer 们会呈现出怎样的比赛舞蹈，对于rojak 的安排会出现怎么样的味觉刺激，我感到很期待。哈～相信当天一定会有很多的惊喜出现，也许有很好的创意，也许有失误，也许有搞笑，也许有很多的也许～

－不过这比赛只是个起点，玩乐的性质却不失认真的准备。冠军队伍可得 RM 300.00,亚军 RM 200.00,季军 RM 100.00 .

－希望大家可以前来支持他们，看看他们的努力，看看他们的创作及成果～

Dance! Crown Of Honor'09 年度大型街舞比赛，经过新山/新加坡/吉隆坡 3 个地区的2场选拔赛后，选出了 3 个地区的精英舞团进入了大决赛，并在 12 月 5 日这一天聚集在云顶的大舞台上一同同台较劲，争夺冠亚季军的荣衔。

Dance! Crown Of Honor'09 的冠军队伍将可以荣获 10千新币的现款，亚军 5千新币，季军3千新币。除了奖金丰富以外，参赛者们也是这场比赛的重头戏，因为进入大决赛的队伍都来自各地的精英舞团，有新加坡及吉隆坡的杰出舞团，也有来自新山各学院的优秀舞团。

大决赛的舞台都在云顶的大舞台上，除了拥有绝佳的舞台环境，相信这些来自各地的参赛者们也将使得这场比赛显得更加精彩。

大家一同前往云顶支持他们吧！支持比赛，支持各地的精英舞团~^^
