Trials Fusion Now Available, Launch Trailer
《特技摩托:融合》发售宣传片 精彩特技动作


  《特技摩托:融合》是由RedLynx开发、育碧代理发行的系列最新作,游戏已经于2014年4月16日登陆PS4、XBOX 360和XBOX One平台,而PC版则将于4月24日发售。日前官方也趁机放出了本作的发售宣传影像,继续为大家展示本作的特点、有趣的玩法以及各种精彩的特技动作,下面就请玩家们一起来欣赏一下吧。

   


Trials Fusion Now Available

Today, Ubisoft announced that Trials Fusion, the highly anticipated sequel to the massively popular platform racer Trials Evolution, is now available for download in North America on Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Sony PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system. Trials Fusion will be available on April 24 in North America for Windows PC.

Trials Fusion is available digitally for $19.99 on Xbox One and Xbox 360 from the Xbox Live Games Store and on PlayStation 4 system. A physical retail version including a Season Pass and bonus unlockable items is also available for $39.99 SRP on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 system.

Developed by RedLynx in collaboration with Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Kiev, Trials Fusion offers players an unlimited array of obstacles and challenges as they race against the clock – with players from around the globe – to set track records.

The game builds off the same maddeningly addictive physics-based gameplay of its predecessors while incorporating brand-new features, including the FMX tricks system.

Create tracks, made possible by the fan-favorite Editor mode, that stretch your imagination and skill, and put your friends to the test by sharing online with the bustling Trials Fusion community.

Whether players choose to race alone, against friends or in a worldwide tournament, the competition is endless. Just one run is never enough.

网传育碧利用UbiArt框架引擎制作2D风格波斯王子|Princes of Persia

    日前网传育碧正在利用UbiArt框架引擎制作一款全新的2D风格《波斯王子|Princes of Persia》游戏,该技术曾用于制作《雷曼传奇|Rayman Legends》和《光之子|Child of Light》。根据法国网站“ Le Portail du Jeu Video”的信息,该作品运用了“与雷曼新作同样的动画技术”,波斯王子的身体“分成若干个部分”,每个部分都可以独立的动画动作。当然育碧对此消息还没有做出回应或者评论。

育碧传言《波斯王子|Prince of Persia》新游戏正在开发中

  育碧的工程师Drew james在推特上放出的以上图片好像在暗示新的《波斯王子》游戏,并且提到了一些其他的工作室和发行商。这个推特是在最近一个法国网站公布新《波斯王子》游戏正在开发中的新闻后发出的。在新闻后几天内发出这样的推特,很可能确认了该游戏的存在。这个法国网站报道称新的《波斯王子》游戏正在使用UbiArt开发,最近的《光之子|Child of Light》和两个雷曼游戏也都是用这个框架开发的。

育碧《舞力全开 | Just Dance》系列续作或被命名为“NOW”

  之前育碧的《舞力全开》系列新作被传出各种各样的新命名,不过这次的消息似乎靠谱一些。

  3月20日,育碧娱乐瑞典AB工作室注册了一个域名为“justdancenow.com”的网站,同时注册的还有“.org”“.fr”“.de”,但是目前访问这些网站会弹出“404 error”。去年E3上,育碧发布了《舞力全开2014》,又快到6月了,育碧会为我们带来《舞力全开》最新作吗?也许新开的网站就是在为这款新作预热,而新作的名字就是《JUST DANCE NOW》。

《刺客信条 | Assassin's Creed》创作者Désilets近期将展示自家新作

  《刺客信条》创作者Patrice Désilets最近将会公布自己的新项目。他在被互联网嗅探Superannuation询问是否有兴趣来分享近期的一些计划时表示:“应该没问题……毕竟我还在负责开发。”

  根据Superannuation透露的内容,Désilets之前一直处于“非竞争”条款下,去年5月时他被育碧驱逐出门,并禁止他展示任何新作。这一条款将在本月末到期,这也意味着Désilets终于可以展示些自己正在开发的东西了。

  Désilets最早于2010年离开了育碧开创了新工作室THQ Montreal,在那里他负责开发名为《1666: Amsterdam》的作品。后来由于THQ的破产,育碧回购了THQ Montreal和《1666: Amsterdam》的开发权。

  通过这种方式Désilets重新回到育碧公司,但这并没有持续很长时间。育碧CEO Yves Guillemot表示公司和Désilets在项目开发和团队管理上愿景不一,因此Désilets被育碧扫地出门,《1666: Amsterdam》也搁置下来。之后Désilets曾控告育碧以获取40万美金补偿以及《1666: Amsterdam》的开发权。不过该官司最后情况至今仍不明了。

育碧公司确认将于今年发售两款《刺客信条 | Assassin's Creed》游戏

  目前已经确认《刺客信条:大革命 | Assassin's Creed:Unity》将于今年晚些时候登陆PS4、Xbox One和PC。游戏是在关于游戏的消息泄露后被公布的。同时还有传言称还有另外一款名为《刺客信条:彗星 | Assassin's
Creed:Comet》的游戏也将在今年登陆PS3和Xbox 360。

  育碧的总裁Yves Guillemot在今天早些时候的一个财务报告中确认了另外一款《刺客信条》游戏正在制作中的消息,这款为前代主机制作的游戏将会于今年发售。他指的很有可能就是《彗星》。

  IGN报道称《刺客信条》系列将会在一定时间内继续出现在PS3和Xbox 360上。

育碧尚不确定今后是否每年发售一款《刺客信条》

  育碧公司的财务总监艾伦.马丁内斯(Alain Martinez)日前在接受采访时说,虽然公司旗下的3A级大作《刺客信条》目前是以每年一部的速度推出,但公司不敢保证以后是否仍以这个速度发布《刺客信条》系列的后续作品。

  “育碧有着很清晰的计划,我们计划每年发布3 - 5款不同品牌的作品,今年我们计划发售了4款,而新一代《刺客信条》就是其中之一。我们不确定在将来是否还能保持这个发售效率,但至少目前做的还不错。”马丁内斯在昨晚的一次融资会议上对外宣称道。

  自2009年发布《刺客信条2》开始,《刺客信条》系列便成为育碧公司的当家年货。而今年更是将有两款《刺客信条》的作品问世,分别是与次世代平台和PC登陆的《刺客信条:大革命》以及Xbox 360及PS3平台的《刺客信条:彗星》。育碧的总裁吉勒莫则表示公司仍将全力支持本世代与次世代主机的游戏开发。

《刺客信条:大革命 | Assassin's Creed Unity》隐藏短弩再登场

  最近,在《刺客信条:大革命》的游戏论坛中,一张最新的游戏截图暗示了隐藏短弩将会在本作中再次登场的消息。一把可隐藏的短弩,方便放置在手腕下,瞬间给敌人以杀伤,不得不说这是一件很酷的暗器。



  以上即为展示新作中这部隐藏短弩的游戏截图,其实这类武器在《刺客信条》系列中并不是首次出现,在之前的《刺客信条:遗产》等作品中我们就已经见到过隐藏的火枪,这一次出现了短弩也不太令人意外。

Trials Fusion Season Pass & DLC Details Revealed
《特技摩托:融合》DLC公开增加新赛道新挑战


  《特技摩托:融合》是由RedLynx开发、育碧代理发行的系列最新作,游戏已经于2014年4月16日登陆PS4、XBOX 360和XBOX One平台。继此前发布了免费更新补丁追加了线上锦标赛后,现在育碧又公开了新的DLC“Riders of the Rustlands”。该DLC将于2014年7月29日推出,售价为4.99美元。

  据报道本次的DLC的场景为“老旧废弃的工业荒地”,和原作中的质朴城市外观风格不同。该DLC将包含10个全新的赛道、10个新的赛道挑战,此外在赛道编辑器中还增加了新物体,比如钢管、木质坡道等。

  游戏的第二个DLC“天空帝国(Empire of the Sky)”将于2014年夏季发售,玩家们将在这个DLC中“在远高于地面的地方探索浮岛”。

  现在官方也放出了新DLC的相关截图,下面就请玩家们欣赏。

  而在讨论本作未来的DLC时,游戏的创意总监Antti Ilvessuo表示:“我们计划让《特技摩托:融合》的世界进入之前系列游戏未曾踏入的领域——进入云间、潜入深海甚至地下深处。”



Trials Fusion Season Pass & DLC Details Revealed

Today, Ubisoft unveiled more details about the Season Pass for Trials Fusion, the popular platform racer from RedLynx. Trials Fusion downloadable content will start rolling out to players on July 29 with the first of six packs, Riders of the Rustlands. Each pack is available for purchase on its own for £3.99 or all six pieces can be purchased as part of the Trials Fusion Season Pass for £15.99. Additionally, Season Pass purchasers will also receive the Crater Hazmat Suit, a piece of exclusive rider gear.

In Riders of the Rustlands players will venture beyond the gleaming cities of Trials Fusion to race through abandoned industrial wastelands, discovering forgotten places where the lack of law & order makes this a dog eat dog world.

Riders of the Rustlands includes 10 new tracks, 18 new track challenges, five new trophies and dozens of new Track Editor objects, including wrecked vehicles and the warehouses featured in the Rustlands.

The second piece of downloadable content, also coming this summer, will continue players’ journeys outside of the Trials Fusion realm to compete and explore floating islands in Empire of the Sky. Future content packs will also include new tracks, new bike parts, rider gear, new items for the track editor and each piece of content will let players experience a new Career Mode Event.

Trials Fusion™ will continue to receive free updates throughout the year that will introduce new features for the game. The recently introduced Tournaments feature is ongoing so players can still participate and battle for a top slot on the leaderboards. Riders of the Rustlands tracks will be included in select Tournaments, as will upcoming DLC tracks as they are released.

Trials Fusion is available digitally on Xbox One and Xbox 360 from the Xbox Live Games Store, on PlayStation 4 system and on PC Digital. A retail deluxe edition including the Season Pass is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 system and Windows PC.

育碧魁北克将会主导开发某款《刺客信条》新作

  《刺客信条》现在可以说是育碧公司的招牌作品之一,自初作推出以来,该系列就不断壮大,游戏世界也不断扩展。过去的《刺客信条》游戏主要以育碧蒙特利尔工作室主导、多家育碧旗下工作室合作的形式进行开发,而现在官方宣布育碧魁北克工作室将会主导未来某款系列新作的开发。

  此前该工作是曾经参与过《刺客信条:兄弟会》、《刺客信条3》和《刺客信条4:黑旗》等游戏的开发,而实际上他们的领导能力在《刺客信条3》DLC“暴君华盛顿”以及《刺客信条4:黑旗》的DLC“自由呐喊”的开发过程中也有所体现。此外最新作《刺客信条:大革命》的开发阵容中也能看到他们的身影。

  育碧魁北克工作室的执行董事Francois Pelland表示:“现在的差别主要是,这将是一个完整的游戏。是的,那里有我们要学习要做的事情,但底线是每个人都为制作它而感到开心和荣幸。”

  “这是一个缓慢和稳健的打下良好基础的工作室,在这里我们大约有350人,虽然比起蒙特利尔工作室还显得比较小,但实际上已经相当大了。”

Ubisoft Quebec leading development on new Assassin’s Creed

Ubisoft Quebec to Lead Future Assassin’s Creed

Just like the game itself, which has been set in various locations around the globe, Assassin’s Creed’s development is now expanding into a new region. This time, however, it’s the location of the lead developer that’s changing: Today, Ubisoft announced that Ubisoft Quebec will be taking the lead on the development of a future Assassin’s Creed. (Previous Assassin’s Creeds have been lead by Ubisoft Montreal in partnership with multiple Ubisoft studios, including Quebec.)

It’s all part of a major investment in the Quebec City studio, which includes a significant increase in the number of staff along with all-new facilities in Quebec’s St-Roch district, a burgeoning high-tech corridor in the historic Canadian city. Also announced today: Ubisoft Quebec will be allocating $4 million of a previously announced $28 million investment in a new workspace at 585 Boulevard Charest Est, of which the first three floors will become a state-of-the-art studio completely redesigned to support triple-A game development. This investment is bolstered by the city of Quebec, which will contribute $500,000 in financial support to help update the studio and its facilities. (Note: all amounts are in Canadian dollars.)

In the Brotherhood

Of course, Ubisoft Quebec is no stranger to Assassin’s Creed. They’ve been part of the Ubisoft’s brotherhood of developers since, well… Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. “Since 2010, our understanding of the franchise has increased each year,” says Nicolas Rioux, Managing Director of Ubisoft Quebec. “We were involved in Brotherhood. We were involved in Revelations. We were involved in Assassin’s Creed III. With AC III we were working on the biggest DLC for the franchise – The Tyranny of King Washington. After that we were also involved with Freedom Cry. We have the confidence of the brand team and also from Ubisoft to take leadership of an upcoming Assassin’s Creed title. The team is ready for the next big step.”

Naturally, this takes people. Ubisoft announced in January that Quebec would expand its talent pool by around 100 new staff in the next three years. So far, Quebec has hired more than half of their goal, bringing the total team up to 350 people. And, yes, some of them are already at work on a future Assassins Creed right now.

While no other details about this upcoming Assassin’s Creed are forthcoming (and believe us, we tried to pry some free), Rioux was happy to share some of what makes Ubisoft Quebec special. Along with the aforementioned work, the studio also played a key role in developing the companion gaming for Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed. “One of the main missions of our studio is to be a leader in creating a universe – connected and mobile,” Rioux says. “Beyond that, it’s to be able to connect to our universe wherever you want, with whatever device you want, and at any time you want.”

Rioux also compares the growth of Quebec to the rise of Montreal. “If you look back at the Montreal studio, you’ll see the same story,” says Rioux, who worked at Ubisoft Montreal from 1997 to 2005, before heading to Quebec. “We started from scratch with several employees. We started with the same strategy: to have employees with different kinds of experience. We’re taking it step-by-step so we can reach our goals. I was in Montreal in the beginning, too. It was the same story. We started to work on some projects, and each year we were building confidence in ourselves while working toward delivering bigger and bigger projects.”

That said, going from a supporting studio to a leading studio will bring about new challenges, but Rioux is confident that the team is ready. “You’re in charge of everything,” he says. “You’re also in charge of making sure you have a good collaboration with the other studios. It’s a team effort between studios, but when you have the responsibilities of leadership, there’s also more pressure. It’s good pressure.”

Recruit Missions

If you’re interested in joining Ubisoft Quebec, now’s a great time. The studio is committed to being in St-Roch for the next 14 years (at the very least), having signed a dozen-year lease that begins when the new location is completed in 2016. And they’re recruiting in earnest, for positions that include level designers, game designers, character artists, audio designers, animators, technical directors, testers and more. “We plan to be at 425 people before the end of 2017,” Rioux says.
