Crytek免费FPS《战争前线》将于10月21日登陆PC

Crytek日前宣布,自家免费FPS游戏《战争前线》PC版本将会在10月21日上市。上月进行的完整Beta测试已经完成。

《战争前线》相应的Xbox360版本将会在2014年上市,虽然该游戏在Xbox360上也是免费作品,但是玩家必须成为Xbox Live金牌会员才能进行此游戏(每年50美元会费)。

《战争前线》将是Crytek的首款免费游戏。该游戏的PC版由工作室的基辅分部负责,基于CryEngine3开发。

Crytek宣称该游戏设定背景为距今不远的未来世界,游戏将会通过次世代图像、人工智能和物理效果来提供全场动画级的体验。

Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli在去年曾为该游戏的免费特点做辩护。

“我知道很多玩家对于免费游戏都没有什么好印象。”Yerli表示,“这种游戏名声不好。‘掏钱就能赢,质量也不高。’我很明白这一点。但是这次我们做的是高质量的免费游戏。是基于我们CryEngine3开发的。这次绝对是大投资大手笔。”

Crytek今天发布旗下首款免费游戏《战争前线》

开发商Crytek今天放出了他们首款免费游戏《战争前线》。

玩家必须通过在Crytek的GFACE注册,并且同意平台协议才能开始游戏。

Crytek今天同时宣布,根据游戏Beta测试的反馈,游戏的医疗兵和工程师将在一定时间以后才会解锁。

玩家必须完成30分钟的游戏教程后才能解锁医疗兵,而在一个小时候才能解锁工程兵。

在《战争前线》中,玩家初始等级为1级。玩家可以通过杀死敌人和完成任务来获得升级所需的经验值。

《战争前线》使用的是CryEngine3引擎,将于明年登陆Xbox 360。

  HeroCraft最近放出了他们正在制作的最新战锤系列游戏《战锤40K:星际之狼》的预告片。这款游戏将融合战锤40K的游戏世界,可收集卡牌和回合制战略元素。游戏将为免费游戏,将于2014年的第二季度发售,预计将登陆IOS,安卓,PC和其他平台。

新作《战锤40K:复仇风暴》公布

  《战锤40K》系列的开发组Eutechnyx现在已经和Games Workshop建立新的合作关系,他们正在制作一款新的《战锤40K》战略游戏,将登陆PC和移动手机平台。

  这个游戏名为《战锤40K:复仇风暴》,开发者形容为是一款“小巷式的战略”游戏,设定在《战锤40K》的未来世界中。玩家会被要求只使用100个黑暗天使太空战士来防卫一个星球。

  这个游戏现在正在公司的移动部门中开发,将于2014年第一季度发售。

  Eutechnyx CEO Darren Jobling说:“《战锤40K:复仇风暴》可以让我们和世界上最有名的游戏企业合作,我们和Games Workshop的合作关系十分美妙,他们可以让我们把《战锤40K》系列带到世界上每一个角落的移动设备上。”

黑曜石“永恒计划”更名“永恒之柱” 试玩演示公布

  Obsidian's日前公布黑曜石旗下RPG新作《永恒计划(Project Eternity)》正式更名为《永恒之柱》同时放出了该作最新的试玩演示。《永恒之柱》的设定将混合《博德之门》的主角中心、令人印象深刻的伙伴和史诗般的探险,《冰风溪谷》充满趣味和刺激的战斗和迷宫,以及《异域镇魂曲》中感人的剧情和成熟的主题。游戏会为玩家提供至少6个可选角色,玩家可从中选取5人作为同行者。玩家可以选择探索整个世界以及世界中所流传的那些古老传说,还可以在自己的派系周围集结大量的编队,如果他们想要的话,可以构建自己的军队,当移动伙伴时,他们将更精确地定位和移动部队。

En Masse Entertainment Announces Action-Packed Third Person Shooter Zombies Monsters Robots

En Masse Entertainment, a player-driven publisher focused on delivering fun and innovative online games, today announced the intense third person shooter, Zombies Monsters Robots (ZMR), for PC. Set in an alternate world where the invention of portal technology has lured cross-dimensional creatures to Earth and humanity finds itself under attack, ZMR pits gamers against a bevy of hostile foes. Players will fight back with guns, guts, and gear for an edge-of-the-seat, take-no-prisoners shooter experience. Currently in development from Yingpei Games, formerly known as Epic Games China, ZMR will launch free-to-play on PC this summer.

“We are excited because ZMR brings a fresh and thrilling experience to PC shooters. Playing the huge variety of co-op missions, facing crazy monsters and boss battles, and the intense PvP is going to keep gamers coming back for more,” said Chris Lee, CEO of En Masse Entertainment. “And in keeping with our philosophy of delivering great games and great service, we can’t wait to let players jump into the awesome action of ZMR, while we will provide our trademark level of player support and a continuous stream of monthly updates.”

Recently shown at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference, ZMR pits players against an unexpected assortment of enemies, environments, and game modes. Gamers will battle monstrous enemies and bosses across a wide range of co-op campaigns and wave-based survival missions as well as fight other players in fierce head-to-head shootouts. Up to eight players can participate in co-op play while competitive modes support up to sixteen players. With a deep arsenal of customizable guns and gear, gamers will need to make every shot count as they enter a war against infectious zombies, abominable monsters, and murderous robots hell-bent on destroying mankind. Dynamic cover, blind fire, dodging, and active reload systems combine for strategic gameplay in which no two missions are alike, traversing locales from lush jungles to gritty industrial districts.

En Masse Entertainment is working closely with Yingpei Games to start alpha testing in April in preparation for a full launch in early summer.

With over 30 million registered player accounts and growing, ZMR has been a huge success in its home market of China, where Yingpei Games released the title under the name Mercenary Ops 2. Headed by industry veterans, Yingpei Games has lent its creative expertise to franchises such as Gears of War, Infinity Blade, and En Masse Entertainment’s own TERA: Rising.

《DayZ》开发商收购新工作室来制作独立版游戏

《DayZ》独立版将获得新的帮助。游戏的创作者Dean Hall最近宣布,Bohemia Interactive收购了斯洛文尼亚的游戏开发工作室Cauldron,该工作室的25名成员将为完善独立版的《DayZ》而努力。

Hall在EGX 2014上宣布了这一消息,同时还透露《DayZ》的alpha已经售出了超过170万份。Cauldron将会被改名为Bohemia Interactive斯洛文尼亚。该工作室在过去几年参与制作了不同的游戏,包括Cabela的打猎系列游戏。这次的收购可能就是Hall在几个月前提到的开发团队人员将扩大一倍的消息。

Hall的演讲还透露了其他一些细节,包括下一个升级补丁将加入的新的游戏物品和游戏机制。这些物品包括可升级的火炉和十字弓。掉落和重生系统也将被修改,门将会自动复位,而装备也会在不同的时间重生在不同的位置。

尽管仍然处于alpha阶段,《DayZ》仍然为玩家提供了非常独特的游戏体验。这次收购了善于制作户外游戏的工作室,对于游戏的未来大有收益。

Subnautica First Pre-alpha Screenshots

  《Subnautica》是一款水下开放世界冒险游戏,游戏目前还在开发中,制作团队为制作《自然选择2》的游戏工作室Unknown World。在PAX East 2014大会上,《Subnautica》展示了先导预览版图片,主要是让大家领略一下游戏的情景和主题,而之于具体的游戏内容、玩法和发售平台,Unknown World并未透露。今天,Unknown World也在自己的官网上面向公众公开了这组图片,感兴趣的玩家先欣赏一下吧。





Subnautica Revealed

Subnautica is an underwater open world adventure game in development at Unknown Worlds, the creators of Natural Selection 2. Today, we are releasing the first pre-alpha in-game screenshots of this new game! These screenshots coincide with Subnautica being revealed and shown at PAX East 2014 – The first time Subnautica has ever been shown publicly and playable anywhere in the world.

‘Pre-Alpha’ is a way of saying ‘before this game is even vaguely ready to be properly considered a product that could be released.’ These screenshots are taken from a real playthrough of a real playable version of Subnautica, but they are very, very early. The game you see here has only been worked on for a few short months. They do not represent what the final product will look like. They do represent some of the gameplay and visual themes that we hope to express when Subnautica is released. We are very proud, and excited to be showing them to you now!

In the first screenshot, called ‘Safe Shallows’, the player is swimming in a coral reef area rich in life. The fish and rays present react to the player’s presence, some are scared, some are curious. Throughout the coral reef area, resources may be found, shells and caves explored, and fish caught. The water is quite shallow, allowing sunlight to play across the player’s vision. This is where players start in our PAX East 2014 demonstration. While it is very early, and not representative of the final product, this is not a staged screenshot and it is really playable!

Safe Shallows is the in-game realisation of coral reef concept art such as the piece above: Many of the life forms and features that you see in this concept have made it into this early build of Subnautica.

The second screenshot, which we call ‘Sub and Stalkers’, shows off many different gameplay elements. This screenshot is taken deeper down in the world, and less light is reaching the sea floor. Different life forms are present, from unique coral formations to the terrifying and dangerous Stalkers. The player is maneuvering using the Sea Glide, a personal water vehicle with a propeller that is faster than swimming with arms alone. Using the Sea Glide, it is possible to evade the hungry (and quite aggressive!) Stalkers.

Most notably, the player is before a Cyclops – The first submarine to make it into Subnautica. At the lower right of the vessel, above the tail of the right-most Stalker, you can see an open door. This door leads to a hatch, through the player may enter the Cyclops. In this early pre-alpha stage, the Cyclops has an extensive detailed interior, which you can glimpse through the bridge glass. Players can board the Cyclops and pilot it around the world, faster and with more protection from danger than while swimming or using the Sea Glide.

恐怖新作《墓穴》发售日期确认 2015年登陆PC平台

日前,Broken Window工作室正式确认了旗下恐怖新作《墓穴(Grave)》的登陆平台,该作预计于2015年登陆Xbox One和PC平台,并支持Oculus Rift头戴式显示器。该作于上个月登陆众筹网站Kickstarter接受捐款,并在15天内达到了初期募款目标3万美元。

该作是一款开放世界恐怖生存游戏,拥有动态变化的游戏世界,你唯一的武器便是使用“光”,同时非常强调生存主题,就像经典恐怖生存游戏一样。

开发商介绍,《墓穴》是一款融合了环境探索以及战斗元素的恐怖类游戏,当玩家在生存和探索之间做出平衡的同时来产生持续的恐怖感。开发商表示开发这款游戏的目标是利用现代的技术来重现经典生存恐怖游戏的荣光。
