PlayStation Network online ID change feature coming in early 2019
PSN ID修改服务2019年上线 可不限次数有偿修改ID

　　根据SIE官方博文介绍，本次改名功能测试将作为PlayStation Preview项目的一部分展开，官方将从此前曾注册参与过PS4系统软件Beta测试的用户中选出一部分，参与本次的改名服务测试。

　　需要注意的是，在本次测试项目中，玩家可以无限次更改自己的在线ID，但是只有第一次改名是免费的，此后的改名服务都要收取1000日元/9.99 美金的费用，而对于PS+会员费用则要低一些，不过也需收取500日元/4.99美金。玩家可以在自己的PS4主机上通过“设置”菜单或是配置页面改动自己的在线ID。

　　根据公告内容，在更改自己的在线ID之后，系统会提供相关选项，玩家可以选择同时显示自己的新ID和旧ID，这样在改名后朋友们也能认出你来。一旦玩家决定是否显示自己的旧ID，在完成改名过程之后也就不能再次进行调整了。

　　本次测试预定将于今年11月月底结束，计划将于2019年年初面向所有PS4用户推出，敬请期待。



PSN Online ID Change Feature Entering PlayStation Preview Program Soon

We’re happy to announce that we will soon begin testing the long-awaited feature that will allow users to change their PlayStation Network Online ID from their PlayStation 4 system. The PSN Online ID Change feature beta will be a part of the PlayStation Preview Program, and will become available to select users that have pre-registered as testers for previous PS4 system software betas.

During the preview program, you will be able to change your online ID as many times as you want. The first change is free, and changes after that will cost $9.99 USD / CAD. For PlayStation Plus members, it will cost $4.99 USD/ CAD after the first change. Changes to online ID can be made through the Settings menu or via the Profile page of your PS4.

When you change your online ID, you will have the option to display your previous ID with your new ID, so your friends can recognize you. Once you decide to display your old ID or not, you won’t be able to adjust this after completing the online ID change process.

This feature is compatible with PS4 games originally published after April 1, 2018, and a large majority of the most-played PS4 games that were released before this date. However, please note not all games and applications for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita systems are guaranteed to support the online ID change, and users may occasionally encounter issues or errors in certain games. If for any reason you experience issues after changing your ID, you can revert back to your original ID for free at any time (you will only be able to revert once during the preview program). Reverting back to an old ID will resolve most issues caused by the ID change. In addition, when this feature officially launches, a list of compatible games published before April 1, 2018, will be provided on PlayStation.com for reference before you make a change.

The preview program for this feature is scheduled to conclude at the end of November 2018. The full rollout of the feature to all PS4 owners is planned for early 2019, so stay tuned for updates down the road!

Sony president on PS4 successor: “It’s necessary to have a next-generation hardware”
索尼总裁表示推出新主机是必要 但可能不会其命名为 PS5

　　近日索尼总裁吉田宪一郎在接受英国《金融时报（Financial Time）》采访时表示：“目前我能说的就是拥有下一代硬件是必要的”，不过他拒绝正式将索尼未来的主机命名为“PS5”。

　　在讨论了索尼应该如何应对全球700亿美元智能手机游戏市场的崛起，以及客户习惯转向之后，吉田宪一郎发表了上述看法。

　　索尼正在慢慢接受电子竞技的巨大潜力，负责PlayStation的索尼互动娱乐公司表示正在考虑各种方案，来加强在电子竞技中的地位，在其看来这是鼓励用户长时间玩游戏以及增强社交角色的有效方式。研究公司Ibbotson Associates Japan的分析师Kazunori Ito称：“索尼可能会长时间使用PS4这个成功的平台。”

　　PS4于2013年上市后，已售出超过8000万台，成为索尼最畅销的游戏机。游戏专家还表示，在PS4到达生命周期后，索尼要从主机转向基于云储存的游戏还为时过早，因为它会错过没有下一代5G数据连接来下载游戏的市场。



Sony president and CEO Kenichiro Yoshida has suggested that the company is planning the release of a next-generation PlayStation.

“At this point, what I can say is it’s necessary to have a next-generation hardware,” Yoshida told Financial Times. He declined to formally name the future console “PlayStation 5.”

Yoshida’s comments were in response to debate over how Sony should address the rising global smartphone games market and the shifting habits of consumers as it readies game studios and the global market for a PlayStation 4 successor.

Financial Times relayed rumors within the industry that Sony might also be planning a tablet that would connect to multiple devices “as online streaming of games becomes more widespread and the company seeks to derive ever greater synergies between its games and movie divisions.”

The publication also cited “people in the games publishing industry with knowledge of Sony’s plans for a future console” who said early indications were that the next-generation PlayStation might have a similar fundamental architecture to PlayStation 4 and not represent a major departure from the console.

Back in April, several game development sources indicated that a PlayStation 5 would not release until 2020 at the earliest.

PS4 Pro price drops to 39,980 yen in Japan starting October 12

　　索尼互动娱乐（SIEJA)宣布将对1TB HHD 规格的 PS4 Pro 进行 5000 日元的降价，将从原来的 44980 日元降价至39980日元，其他地区暂未官宣。

　　新价格将从10月12日开始实行。并且今年 3 月时发售的数量限定版冰川白 PS4 Pro 因为大量好评，将从同一天开始作为普通商品进行销售。

　　此外，随着新价格的实施，《王国之心3》样式的限定版PS4 Pro也将从53780日元降价至48700日元（均为税前）。



Starting October 12, PlayStation 4 Pro will drop from its current 44,980 yen manufacture suggested retail price in Japan to 39,980 yen, Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia announced.

The Glacier White color variation of PlayStation 4 Pro released in limited quantities in March will also be available as a standard color option. And the Kingdom Hearts III PlayStation 4 Pro Limited Edition, previously announced to cost 53,780 yen, will be reduced to 48,780 yen.

The Wall Street Journal technology reporter Takashi Mochizuki reached out to Sony about a price drop in the United States and Europe, to which the company responded, “nothing we can comment now.”

Sony also announced a campaign for users who purchase a PlayStation 4 Pro and Call of Duty: Black Ops III as a set between October 12 to 21. Rather than the 47,880 yen the console and game would regularly cost together, buyers can save 5,000 yen and only pay 42,280 yen.

　　SIES 表示，初代 PlayStation 于 1994 年 12 月 3 日在日本首次亮相，采用实时 3DCG 渲染技术并搭载 CD-ROM 等划时代的创新技术，对 90 年代及之后的游戏产业产生了巨大影响。

PlayStation Classic announced, launches December 3

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced PlayStation Classic, a miniature games console that mirrors the look of the original PlayStation and comes pre-loaded with 20 games. It will launch in limited quantities on December 3 in North America, Europe, and Japan for $99 、9,980 yen.

The design of the miniature console resembles the original, including the button layout, two included controllers, and outer package. It is 45 percent smaller on the sides and 80 percent smaller in volume than the original console. It includes an HDMI cable for connecting to external displays, and a USB cable which needs to be connected to a commercially sold USB AC Adaptor for power supply from the plug.

Of the 20 included titles, the following have been confirmed:

• Final Fantasy VII (Square Enix)
• Jumping Flash! (SIE)
• R4 Ridge Racer Type 4 (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
• Tekken 3 (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
• Wild Arms (SIE)

Select titles will support local multiplayer gameplay using the two controllers.

高手自制带显示器电池的一体型PS4并将制作过程做成视频

　　日本的一个主播KEI STUDIO日前公开了一组视频。展示了他历时16个月，将一台Slim版PS4主机改造成带显示器、电池、键盘、手柄收纳的一体型PS4主机PS4U(PlayStation4 Unify)的过程。

　　视频中可以看到他从设计到制作到最终成形涂装的整个过程，包含PS4主机在内共花费了28万日元，并且完全重新改造了主机及配件的外观。在最后还试玩了很长时间《勇者斗恶龙英雄2》测试主机的稳定性，最终电视续航约4个多小时。只不过这东西重达7.7公斤，带出门游玩仍然不太现实……

PS4 worldwide shipments top 82.2 million
索尼一季财报显示游戏网络部门最赚钱 PS4销量达8220万台

　　索尼公布了18-19财年第一季度财报。在截至6月30日的第一季度内集团营业额19536亿日元同比增长5%，集团营业利益1950亿日元同比增长24%，实现增收增益，情况良好。

　　分部门看，游戏与网络服务部门大幅增收，是索尼集团内赚钱最多的部门。其次是金融部门，之后是包含FGO在内的音乐部门。而手机部门则依然非常艰难。

　　具体看游戏与网络服务部门主要增收原因是PS4游戏软件的销量增长。同时索尼也将PS4主机原预期的年1600台销量提升到1700万台。而根据该季度PS4主机销量320万台可以算出PS4主机全球累计销量达到8220万台。



Worldwide total shipments for PlayStation 4 have reached 82.2 million, Sony announced in its financial results for the three months ended June 30, 2018.

A total of 3.2 million PlayStation 4s were shipped during the first quarter, which is down 0.1 million from the same period the previous fiscal year.

Sony has also increased its previous forecast of 16 million PlayStation 4s shipped in fiscal year 2018, which runs from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019, to 17 million units.
