I wish... 所表达的是和事实不符或相左的东西。
我愿望有一百美元，但事实上我并没有......
这是一种虚拟语气，一般用过去时态（如 had; went; did）来表达现在的状况，还有用过去完成时态（如 had had; had gone; had done）来表达过去的状况...
例句......
现在：
（事实）I don't have a million dollars. （愿望）I wish I had a million dollars.
（事实）I don't know the answer. （愿望）I wish I knew the answer.
过去：
（事实）I failed the exam. （愿望）I wish I had passed the exam.
（事实）I didn't buy the book.  （愿望）I wish I had bought the book.

至于 be 的动词，现在的状况，一般用 were （包括 I, she, he, it），过去的状况则用 had been
现在：I wish she were my girlfriend. （事实：She is not my girlfriend.)
过去：I wish I hadn't been late for work.  （事实：I was late for work.)

会厉害吗？那千千万万讲英语的人不是全部很厉害？
如果有趣就多回帖我就会常回来，不然这里很严寒，有时都忘了或懒得回来这里看看......

看电影有习惯的说法：go to the cinema, see a film（英式）或 go to the movies; go to a movie; see a movie （美式）
你可以说：
I went to the cinema yesterday.  I went to the movies yesterday. I went to a movie yesterday. 或 I saw a movie/film yesterday. 我昨天去看电影。
如果你不跟随一般的说法而自己去创造会让人（说英语的人）听起来怪怪的、不自然也不地道。
你可以想象一个学习华语的老外用自创的方式（可能受了英语的影响）来说“我昨天去看电影”：我去那个电影院，昨天。 我们听了也会感觉怪怪的，心理直嘀咕：为什么他不说“去看电影”？

很多日常的用词，简简单单地把它们背熟，然后就那么用就行了，比如说：
去购物，英语是 go shopping，把这背熟，以后就这么说就行了，可是本地很多人自创了各式各样的说法：
go to shopping; go to the shopping, go to a shopping; shopping (I shopping yesterday) 之类的，乱七八糟......
