New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL in Stores in North america and Europe on Same Day - 13th February - As The Legend of Zelda : Majora's Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

During a Nintendo Direct presentation aired today, Nintendo announced that New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems will release at retail on 13th February, the same day as much-anticipated titles The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, both releasing on Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems in stores and Nintendo eShop.

New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL present a number of new enhancements designed to offer the smoothest and most engrossing portable gaming experiences. New Nintendo 3DS has a screen size 1.2 times larger than that of Nintendo 3DS, while both New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL feature a wider range of controls with the addition of a C Stick and ZL/ZR buttons, super-stable 3D via face-tracking technology and built-in NFC functionality that allows for communication with amiibo figures. While New Nintendo 3DS XL will be available in Metallic Black or Metallic Blue, New Nintendo 3DS will launch in Black or White, but with the addition of a wide range of cover plates - 12 of which will be available at launch, with more to release in future - to customise your system.

Two New Nintendo 3DS XL bundles will also be available from 13th February. New Nintendo 3DS XL Majora’s Mask Edition will include a pre-installed copy of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D and a New Nintendo 3DS XL system covered in artwork inspired by the game. Similarly, New Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Edition will include a pre-installed copy of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and a New Nintendo 3DS XL system with an iconic emblem from the game on its cover.

In other news in today’s presentation, Nintendo also revealed a new game in the Fire Emblem series for Nintendo 3DS, a brand new third-person action game coming to Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS called IronFall: Invasion, a line of amiibo featuring classic characters from the Super Mario series and many details about other upcoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games, including Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., Splatoon, and Mario Party 10.

Some of the key announcements covered in today’s Nintendo Direct include:

Nintendo 3DS

• New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL: In addition to the new control options, super-stable 3D technology and built-in NFC functionality, New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL also feature an increase in CPU power, allowing for faster download speeds and use of Miiverse, and smoother transitions when switching between software. New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems launch on February 13th.

• The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D: The handheld remake of the beloved Nintendo 64 game launches for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems on 13th February. Launching on the same day is the New Nintendo 3DS XL Majora’s Mask Edition hardware bundle, including a Majora’s Mask-themed New Nintendo 3DS XL and a copy of the game. Players who experience the dark and twisted adventure on New Nintendo 3DS or New Nintendo 3DS XL can enjoy the super-stable 3D and enhanced camera controls using the C Stick.

• New Fire Emblem game: A new game in the Fire Emblem series is coming to Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems. Developed by the same team who created Fire Emblem: Awakening, the new adventure adds challenges never before seen in the series and asks players to make decisions that will affect the game’s world in new ways. More information on the game’s release will be revealed in the future.

• Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate: As players explore the world of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, they will face off against many ferocious enemies with up to three other friends locally or, for the first time on Nintendo 3DS, online using a wireless broadband Internet connection. Starting today, an exclusive demo with three different quests and local and online multiplayer functionality will be made available by email to select Monster Hunter fans, complete with three additional Nintendo eShop codes that can be shared with friends. A special edition New Nintendo 3DS XL bundle that includes a slick, custom-designed system and the Monster Hunter Ultimate 4 game will also release on the same day. By playing the game on New Nintendo 3DS or New Nintendo 3DS XL, players can experience C Stick functionality and super-stable 3D that makes for more immersive gameplay, while two sets of cover plates inspired by the game will be available for New Nintendo 3DS owners to purchase separately from 13th February.

• Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS amiibo Compatibility: In February, a new system update will allow amiibo support for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS using the Super Smash Bros. series of amiibo and the NFC technology built into New Nintendo 3DS systems. The previously announced Nintendo 3DS NFC Reader/Writer for amiibo support on Nintendo 3DS will launch in the future.

• Xenoblade Chronicles 3D: On 2nd April, a remake of the well-received Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii is launching exclusively for New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems. The new version offers 3D visuals and allows players to view the maps and character stats on the bottom screen. Another new addition to the game is a bonus mode that lets players view 3D models of the characters and listen to tracks from the game’s musical score.

• IronFall: Invasion: Created by a small team of three talented indie developers for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems, IronFall: Invasion brings fast-paced shooting action, with the gameplay perfectly suited for using the C Stick of New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL. With 6-player local and online multiplayer, a dedicated single player campaign and 60fps gameplay, this new title from VD-Dev is releasing on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS in February.

• Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition: Based on the popular Puzzle & Dragons game – a puzzle game with RPG and strategy elements that previously launched in Japan – Puzzle & Dragons Z and Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition will launch as one package for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems in May. Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition features characters and worlds from the Super Mario Bros. series.

• Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.: On 15th May, Abraham Lincoln will bring together a team of talented agents to fend off an alien invasion. Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. will support amiibo figures. Players can use Fire Emblem amiibo characters Marth, Ike, Robin and Lucina as playable characters in battle and unleash their Fire Emblem-related weapons against the aliens.

• Pokémon Shuffle: Launching on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS in February, Pokémon Shuffle finds players matching three or more Pokémon to clear them from the screen and finish stages. Players can download and start the game for free and purchase in-game items using Nintendo eShop funds.

• Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy +: Coming in February 2015 for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems, play as the legendary pilot Phoenix and control fighter jets that actually exist in real-life. The game includes compatibility with the New Nintendo 3DS system’s C Stick and ZR/ZL buttons for total control, while also offering amiibo support with unlockable jets styled on characters such as Link, Bowser or Fox.

• Nintendo Anime Channel: A new video-on-demand service kicks off on 13th February, offering fans the chance to stream anime series from the likes of Pokémon, Kirby, and Inazuma Eleven, with new content being added regularly. Access to the service is granted simply by downloading a free application from Nintendo eShop.

Wii U

• Splatoon: When players first start the colourful shooting game, they will begin in a central ‘plaza’ that connects to all the different modes in the game. The hub also grants access to a shopping centre that lets players customise their weapons and outfits. Splatoon launches exclusively for Wii U in May.

• Mario Party 10: The new “amiibo Party mode” brings amiibo compatibility to the classic party-game series. Select amiibo from both the Super Smash Bros. Collection and Super Mario Collection will work with the game: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Bowser, Rosalina, Donkey Kong and Wario. Tapping an amiibo to the GamePad lets players use that character as a game piece, as well as play on a game board themed to that classic character. Mario Party 10 launches for Wii U on 20th March, with a limited quantity of bundles including a Mario amiibo from the Super Mario Collection, plus a copy of the game, also being prepared.

• Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker: A new update on 20th March will add amiibo support to the charming Wii U game. Players that tap the Toad amiibo – releasing on the same day - to the GamePad can enjoy a new hide-and-seek mode where pixel art Toads are hidden throughout the stages.

• Xenoblade Chronicles X: The upcoming Wii U game is an open-world RPG that allows players to seamlessly explore a vast world. Xenoblade Chronicles X is planned for launch in 2015.

• Project Treasure (working title): A new teaser video was revealed in today’s Nintendo Direct featuring Katsuhiro Harada from Bandai Namco Games discussing a new game that is being developed exclusively for Wii U. The game will be free to download and start playing but requires an online connection as four players work together to complete varied stages, clearing traps, routing enemies and seizing treasure.

• Wii Games Coming to Wii U a download software: Starting today, players will be able to download Wii games directly to their Wii U HOME Menu via Nintendo eShop for Wii U – no need to access Wii Mode. The first game that is available - released today - is Super Mario Galaxy 2. The future lineup of Wii games coming to Nintendo eShop on Wii U includes Donkey Kong Country Returns (22nd January) and Metroid Prime Trilogy (29th January). Other upcoming titles are Kirby’s Adventure Wii, Pandora’s Tower, Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Skies and Punch-Out!!. The Wii U GamePad can be used to control many Wii games that were compatible with the Wii Classic Controller. 　　任天堂于今（14）日深夜举办的「Nintendo Direct 2015.1.14」中发表，将于 N3DS 推出《圣火降魔录》系列最新作品《圣火降魔录 if（ファイアーエムブレムif）》，预定 2015 年夏季发售。

　　《圣火降魔录 if》由备受好评的《圣火降魔录 觉醒（ファイアーエムブレム 覚醒）》团队所开发。影片中可以看到新作承袭了「觉醒」的系统和画风，且崭露许多「东洋」要素，出现多名武士角色。剧本是由知名脚本家树林伸执笔（※），有兴趣的玩家不妨期待进一步的详情发表。

Pokémon Shuffle Overview

Pokémon Shuffle is a Pokémon game available soon for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. In Pokémon Shuffle, your goal is to clear various stages by lining up the same Pokémon and clearing these matches from the puzzle area. Within each puzzle stage, you can deal damage to the wild Pokémon you face by lining up three of the same Pokémon to clear them. Battle and try to catch the Pokémon before you run out of moves!

Each stage in Pokémon Shuffle provides you a limited number of opportunities in which to move your Pokémon around. There is no time limit, so you can take as long as you like to study the board. To clear each stage, you'll have to reduce the HP of the wild Pokémon you face to zero within a set number of moves. Use all the strategies and tactics available to you, and learn to read the board to spot future matches. Clearing Pokémon efficiently is the key to winning Pokémon Shuffle's many stages!

Pokémon all have a type of their own, and each has its strengths and weaknesses. Choosing a group of Pokémon that is right for each level is important. You'll also be able to raise the level of your Pokémon by using them multiple times, enabling them to deal more damage to foes. Collect many different Pokémon and raise them up so that you will be able to make your way through your battles against wild Pokémon with finesse.

Pokémon Shuffle also features Mega-Evolving Pokémon—when one of your Pokémon Mega Evolves, it can clear out a whole heap of Pokémon at once or cause other special effects!

Pokémon Shuffle is a download-only game and it can be downloaded at no cost to you. You'll be able to enjoy virtually all the features of Pokémon Shuffle without paying any money. There is a limit to how many stages you can play through without taking a break. This number will be replenished with time, but you can also purchase items in the game's shop that will enable you to continue playing immediately, if you choose.

　　《玛利欧派对 10》是以《玛利欧》系列角色为题材的老牌多人同乐派对游戏《玛利欧派对》系列最新作，承袭系列惯例，收录丰富的多人同乐小游戏。除了例行的 4 人同乐「派对模式」外，还有活用 Wii U GamePad 特性提供库巴对玛利欧团队 1 对 4 玩法的「库巴派对模式」等玩法。

　　任天堂于今（14）日台湾时间晚间 10 点在官方网页、YouTube 频道与 NICONICO 生放送举办了在线发表会「Nintendo Direct 2015.1.14」，宣布在 E3 时首度对外发表的 3DS 新作《代号 S.T.E.A.M. 林肯 VS 外星人（Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. リンカーンVSエイリアン）》将在 2015 年 5 月 14 日发售，售价为 4700 日圆（不含税）。

　　本作是由制作《圣火降魔录》等作的 Intelligent Systems 所开发之动作战略仿真游戏，舞台设定在英国与美国，整体采用了蒸气庞克风格的幻想设定。

　　玩家在游戏中将扮演由美国第 16 任总统林肯所率领的特殊部队 S.T.E.A.M.，击退侵略地球的外星人。虽然是采用回合制系统，但也融入了第三人称射击游戏的临场感。游戏支持网络对战及合作游玩。

　　游戏中登场的角色都各自持有独特的必杀技，例如给予周遭的敌人庞大损伤，或是在敌方周围放置炸弹等等。必杀技在一场对战中仅能使用一次。

本　　次官方在预录直播中宣布，本作将对应《圣火降魔录》系列的 amiibo 玩偶，包含马尔斯（マルス）、艾克（アイク）、鲁基娜（ルキナ）以及军师路夫雷（ルフレ）。只要读取玩偶数据，这些角色就会化身特别单位登场。

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Coming February 13, Special New 3DS XL
《萨尔达传说：穆修拉的面具 3D》2 月 14 日发售 同捆机造型正式公开

　　任天堂于今日台湾时间晚间 10 点举行的「Nintendo Direct 2015.1.14」当中公布，以 N64 作品《萨尔达传说：穆修拉的面具》为基础重制的 N3DS 新作《萨尔达传说：穆修拉的面具 3D》发售日确定为 2015 年 2 月 14 日，盒装版／下载版售价皆为 4700 日圆（不含税）。

　　虽然这次并没有直接在直播中播映宣传影片，但「面具商人」提到本作的官方网站以及官方推特账号皆已经公开，有兴趣的玩家可以自行前往浏览更丰富的介绍。其中值得一提的是，最新的介绍影片以及由制作人青沼英二亲自解说的影片都已对外释出。

   

   

   

　　在发售日公开的同时，官方也正式宣布本作将会同步推出 NN3DS LL 同捆机，售价为 23000 日圆（不含税）。若是持有 NN3DS 的玩家，则可以选购同样在 2 月 14 日发售的更换用机箱，售价为 2000 日圆（不含税）。
