It’s almost time to choose your class, mount up, and explore the first fantasy battle royale on your PS4!
We’re thrilled to announce that Realm Royale is officially coming to the PS4, and that Closed Beta testing will start next week!
First things first:
• Visit the Realm Royale website to sign up for beta (PS4 - Xbox One), and we’ll invite you to the beta as soon as we can.
• Want to be one of the first to play in Closed Beta? On day 1 of testing, we’ll message access codes to 5 random people who comment on this post.
At its core, Realm Royale is a battle royale. 100 players skydive into a massive map, collect weapons, and battle it out to be the last man standing as the fog closes in.
But Realm Royale isn’t your average battle royale. It’s an evolution of formula, incorporating fantasy style and ability-driven, hero shooter-like combat (with no building).
At the start of each match, you’ll choose from one of five fantasy classes that define your playstyle. Are you a Warrior, leaping into battle throwing massive axes? An Assassin, hiding in smoke screens, blinking through windows, and sniping your opponents? Mages can soar through the skies and rain fireballs, while Engineers can deploy turrets and Hunters are masters of the bow.
With a push of a button, you can summon a mount to traverse this massive fantasy world. Ride through the the lush jungle of Jaguar’s Claws, the scorched sands of Goblin Gulch, and the frigid Everfrost as you find new targets without boring downtime.
You’ll also find some very important buildings as you explore the Realm: Forges. You can craft Legendary weapons and armor in Forges, but be careful: When you activate a Forge, everyone nearby will find out. Will your enemies attack, or can you siege an opposing Forge?
Sound like fun? Well, what are you waiting for — sign up for beta (PS4 - Xbox One) and comment on this post for a chance at day 1 testing access! We’ll see you in the Realm for Closed Beta testing next week.
The Occupation Confirmed for PlayStation 4 & Xbox One, Releasing October 9
Sold Out is excited to announce that it has partnered with White Paper Games to release the physical versions of real-time investigative thriller The Occupation on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X, on October 9, 2018. The game will also be available digitally, published by Humble Bundle, on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Steam the same day.
An explosion has triggered a controversial act which threatens the civil liberties of the British population to be rushed into place. You are tasked with investigating and questioning people on their actions on a night that resulted in many deaths.
Use the tools at your disposal to influence characters’ actions and behaviours to get the results you need. Will you take the most direct route and risk getting caught or plan your approach carefully but risk losing precious time?
Events happen in real-time and you must make decisions based on the evidence.
“We’re delighted to be bringing The Occupation to physical retail later this year,” said Sarah Hoeksma, Marketing Director at Sold Out. “It’s one of those games which grips you from the moment you start. The fact that it’s real-time is a fantastic point of difference leading to a captivating experience unlike anything else this year.”
“Partnering with Sold Out has been a huge opportunity for us to let even more players around the world experience our work,” said Pete Bottomley, Co-Founder and Designer at White Paper Games. “It’s been a long journey and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved considering we’re still a small team. We can’t wait to see how people resonate with The Occupation and we’re even more excited now that we have a release date!”

Growing the Galaxy: Boundless to Launch this 11th September on PC and PS4
Square Enix Collective is proud to announce that the forthcoming epic sandbox MMO Boundless from UK studio Wonderstruck will launch on 11 September, for PC and PlayStation 4.
Offering gamers a single universe of connected worlds in which every element - the politics, the economy, the crafting and the communities - is entirely created and run by the players, Boundless ensures everyone is exploring, building, crafting, trading and collaborating within one single ecosystem.
“Throughout its Early Access run, we’ve watched players flourish within Boundless’ evolving universe,” says James Austin, Director of Wonderstruck. “Now, with our full launch in September, we’re excited to see where they take the full game - especially given that PC and PS4 gamers will all be operating within the same space, crafting and creating with each other within the same worlds.”
One of the big draws of Boundless is the ability to open portals to travel seamlessly between diverse planets as you expand your adventure across the universe; or watch the sun rise on a volcanic world before joining friends to prospect for precious resources on a desert planet.
Starting with your first humble campfire, will you live a nomadic life in the wild, or found a new settlement with your allies from which to grow your empire? You can rally citizens to expand your city, competing to become the capital of your world and claiming the title of Viceroy.
Will you build a citadel, drive the economy, or craft masterpieces of technology? Join the hunt for exotic creatures, develop your homestead, or seek new horizons? Everything in the game is created by players - so if you want something, you’ll either need to craft it yourself, or trade with others.
As announced back in June, Square Enix Collective has signed on to publish the PC version of Boundless, with developer Wonderstruck in tandem handling the game’s release on PS4.
“For a game like Boundless, which relies on the community to create a constantly evolving universe, allowing every player, in every region, on every platform, to play together was always vital,” says Phil Elliott, Director of Indie Publishing at Square Enix West. “Because one of the really important, unique aspects of Boundless is that - whichever path you choose within the game, and whichever role you play - you do it in a single, unsharded universe in full view of the entire player-base. Which means that your actions have real meaning.”
Boundless can be broken down into six main areas at launch - exploration, building, crafting, hunting, trading, and settlement-building - with players able to choose their place in a massive, open-universe sandbox. With the expanse of worlds around them constantly shifting and changing, players are encouraged to shape their role and play their part in a universe where anything is possible.
Key Features
• Colonise planets by yourself or join a settlement with others and grow your Beacon into the capital of the world with the Prestige system.
• Craft hundreds of items including building blocks, tools, weapons, food and much more.
• Spend your hard earned skill points in the Skill Tree and tailor your character to how you want to play the game.
• Complete objectives, feats and events to earn rewards and Experience Points to level up your character.
• Build and maintain a Portal between worlds for you and others to use.
• Trade items with others or set up a shop to sell and buy items while you’re off adventuring.
• Seamlessly travel to new worlds and discover different creatures, resources, block colours and user generated creations in an ever-changing universe - each world automatically regenerates areas that are not protected by a Beacon and returns it to its original layout, creating new and much needed resources for you to collect.

Warlocks II: God Slayers launches in October for Switch and PC, Q1 2019 for PS4 and Xbox One
Action RPG Warlocks II: God Slayers will launch for Switch and PC in October for $19.99, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Q1 2019, publisher Fat Dog Games and developer Frozen District announced.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Warlocks II: God Slayers is a humorous action RPG game with online and local co-op up to four players. Challenge the vile gods and dethrone them in this action-packed hack n’ slash experience with wizards and meteor showers.
God Slayers is a brand new story, where our titled Warlocks now need to face the gods themselves, as apparently perishing the shadow monsters have angered them to say the least. The Order of Warlocks has been called to challenge the gods and dethrone them from their obnoxious mighty positions.
Core Features
• Awesome pixel art with hand-drawn animations
• Fresh hack ‘n slash experience in both local and online co-op
• Enemies have their own skill sets and work together to take you down
• Special familiar slot for your character (with evolutions!)
• Giant bosses waiting to get slayed
• Tons of randomly generated loot waiting for you to pick ’em up
• Fresh Hack n’ Slash Experience
We’ve learned a great deal while developing our first game. The thing that majority of our players praised the most was gameplay and combat. That in itself will only get more diverse giving players a legit class system with characters that you can level up and choose their skills with skill trees, a familiar system where you can bring up a little fellow that’ll aid you in battle.
Rich and Interesting World
We’re taking story seriously in this Warlocks game. You’ll be challenged with completing both main and side quests, all of them featuring compelling dialogue and novel gameplay elements. Fight with the band to dethrone the vile gods! Run with the giant Hamammoths and save the oppressed worlds! Help the Order of Warlocks withstand these challenging times.
Exploration and Atmosphere
The previous game featured small maps and arenas which didn’t leave a lot of room for exploration. This time we’re building actual places to visit with their own wild monsters to find. Each universe you travel through has its own inhabitants which behave differently when approached.
Less Exciting Features List
• Three very different worlds, each with a mid-world boss and a final boss
• Over 40 varied enemies, each with a skill set and behavior of its own
• Single-player mode, local co-op, and online co-op (up to four players)
• Procedurally generated side-quests, loot (with different rarity tiers and special suffixes) and enemy setup on levels
• Five playable characters, each introducing a different play-style
• All the skills from characters’ skill trees have additional upgrades that you can unlock adding new utility to your favorite spells
Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics Delivers a Twisted Lovecraftian World War II Turn-Based RPG in Q4 2018
Ripstone Games are proud to announce that it’s teamed up with developer Auroch Digital to release the occult turn-based strategy game
Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics in Q4 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A Nintendo Switch release will follow later this year.
Based on the wildly successful tabletop RPG from Modiphius Entertainment, Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics is set in an alternate World War II where the Nazis have gained a considerable advantage by summoning Lovecraftian monsters that could enable them to destroy the allies. Players take control of Charlie Company, an elite band of allied forces, sent in to do the impossible, foil the Nazi plans and turn the tide of war.
“We loved Modiphius’ pulp mash-up of World War II Nazis and the Cthulhu Mythos. It’s an incredibly evocative and exciting alternate history which makes for a unique tabletop experience” said Nina Adams, Producer at Auroch Digital. “We’re taking that nigh-on faultless foundation and transporting it into the video game medium, via our favourite genre, the turn-based tactics game. With the genre experiencing something of a comeback in recent years, we feel Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics will not only deliver an incredibly compelling theme and world to play in, but also offer innovative gameplay possibilities.”
Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics utilizes a mix of turn-based strategy and RPG mechanics as players embark on a globetrotting campaign against the forces of evil. Each hero character features their own backstory, weapon specialisations and combat abilities to give players an edge in the battlefield. Captain Eric “Badger” Harris is a British Intelligence operative who specializes in experimental weaponry and guerrilla warfare; Ariane Dubois is a French Resistance member who’s bonded with a demonic spirit creature that she can command on the battlefield; Corporal Akhee “The Eye” Singh wields a sentient amulet that can transform him into a whirling cloud of blades; and Sergeant Brandon Carter is a loud-mouthed American soldier with a medallion that imbues his signature Thompson submachine gun, with mythos-fuelled bullets that can tear through the Nazi’s horrifying creations.
Beyond these four main heroes, Charlie Company is joined by the covert ops of Badger’s Commando Unit, and the Native American tribe the The Keijn - or “Pathfinder Demon Hunters” as they’re often known. In the world of Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics, all Allied forces fight better in the light. Step into the dark, however, and the forces of evil will grow ever more powerful.
