Capcom Vancouver Reveals the First Dead Rising 3 DLC Episode and Free Demo
Operation Eagle is the first Dead Rising 3 DLC installment to the Untold Stories of Los Perdidos. This episode puts you in control of Spec Ops Commander Adam Kane on a mission that challenges everything he believes and sets him out to capture the missing President of the United States. Operation Eagle features a new mission, five new weapons, one new combo weapon, one new vehicle, a new clothing outfit, plus additional Gamerscore and the ability to carry experience points back to Dead Rising 3.
For those who are looking to experience the thrill of the zombie apocalypse for the first time, Capcom Vancouver also revealed a free interactive “Dead Rising 3” demo to taste the action. Explore the zombie-infested district of Ingleton within Los Perdidos for weapon blueprints, and combo weapons and vehicles to help you kill as many zombies as you can! Capcom Vancouver released a new title update today for “Dead Rising 3” in advance of tomorrow’s launch of the game’s first DLC episode, ‘Operation Broken Eagle.’ The update introduces a host of improvements to single-player and co-op gameplay, including a variety of performance and stability upgrades, and fixes for issues related to achievements, UI updates, SmartGlass and more. Additionally, it adds a new impulse trigger feature that notifies players when they are running low on ammo.

ccording to the official Xbox account, Dead Rising 3 will be getting “Chaos Rising” DLC tomorrow. The specifics are a bit unclear, though it shouldn’t be too long before we find out about its contents.
Microsoft has confirmed that it is to release new Dead Rising 3 DLC this Tuesday, February 25 in the form of the Chaos Rising expansion pack.
The Xbox One release will be the third in a four-part series of single-player add-ons collectively titled Untold Stories of Los Perdidos.
The expansion’s release follows the January launch of the Operation Broken Eagle pack and early February’s Fallen Angel pack. Part four, The Last Agent, is also scheduled to launch in 2014.
While Chaos Rising’s contents haven’t been fully detailed, the add-on is expected to introduce a new story strand, as well as fresh vehicles and weapons.
The critically acclaimed Xbox One exclusive launch title Dead Rising 3 will be available for PC digital download on Steam globally and a retail version for Windows PC in Europe in Summer 2014. PC gamers will be able to experience the hordes of horror at high PC resolutions with fully optimized visuals for the wide screen, upgraded textures on characters, backgrounds and in-game objects.
Dead Rising 3 for PC will include Steam platform support with Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Steam Trading Cards, global leaderboards and full game controller support. Also compatible with the keyboard and mouse, players will be able to toggle back and forth between the two in real time.
The third title in the Dead Rising series with sales of over 1 million units to date, Dead Rising 3 takes place 10 years after the events of Dead Rising 2. Set in the city of Los Perdidos amidst a nationwide zombie outbreak, the story follows Nick Ramos, a young mechanic. He must find a way to escape from thousands of blood thirsty zombies before an impending military strike wipes out the city and its population. Relying on the help of other survivors he meets along the way and the vast array of unique and powerful combo weapons available, Nick will need to get creative to get out of the infected city before it’s too late.
