Fight for your rights

Take centre stage and face enemies in enchanting turn-based battles. Use an array of techniques to overcome any opponent, including show-stopping Ad-lib Performances and Duo Arts, where two stars collaborate to deal out damage! If you hit an enemy with a super effective attack, you might also launch into a Session – a combo that can feature attacks from all members of your party that’s sure to bring the house down!

Stay social

Whether you’re poking around in shops in Tokyo or delving deep into the Idolasphere, keep up to date with your allies via Topic, a social media stream accessible through the Wii U GamePad. Exchange messages with other characters to gain fresh insights, build friendships and maybe unlock side quests! You can also use the GamePad to check out maps while you’re wandering, or get more information on party members and enemies mid-battle.

Stage Invasion

In Tokyo, ordinary student Itsuki Aoi runs into his childhood friend Tsubasa Oribe. Ambitious Tsubasa is preparing to participate in a competition to become an idol singer, but as the competition begins, the stage is stormed by a swarm of sinister figures, who drag Tsubasa through an eerie portal.

Itsuki immediately jumps into action and, with the aid of some mysterious beings, he and Tsubasa are able to fight off the invaders. It’s revealed that their saviors, Chrom and Caeda, are heroes from another world and that the place they’re in is the Idolasphere – a dimension that bridges the gap between the two worlds.

Within the Idolasphere, the heroes take on spectral forms known as Mirages. While many Mirages are intent on waging war against our world, some prefer to team up with certain talented humans, becoming weapons for them to wield in battle. Mirages respond to Performa – the power of creativity and self-expression in the human heart – and the humans who can form bonds with Mirages to make use of their awesome powers are known as Mirage Masters. With the help of Mirages, they can take on foes that threaten the world.

Tipped for the Top

Secretly, the talent agency Fortuna Entertainment has been trying to prevent Mirages from invading our world. After learning of their experience in the Idolasphere, the agency enrolls the talents of the young heroes, whilst giving them a golden opportunity to achieve their dreams of stardom.

As they face Mirages, our young heroes will also follow their dreams as they try to become stars. They’re determined to sing, dance and act their way to the top, but the road to showbiz success is never a smooth one…

The Power of Performa

Both Mirages and Mirage Masters can use Performa as a source of power. The more creative someone is, the more Performa they have, and the young hopefuls trying to break into the world of show business burn particularly brightly. Evil Mirages are attacking humans, hoping to drain them of their Performa and take this precious energy back to their world. Just what are they planning to do with the stolen energy?

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE 'Mastering Dungeons' Trailer

   

Nintendo has released a new trailer for its Atlus-developed Wii U RPG Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE introducing the game’s dungeons.

The game sees players explore the dungeons of the Idolasphere to uncover stories and face off against enemy Mirages in turn-based battles.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is due out for Wii U in North America and Europe on June 24. It will be available in both standard and limited editions.

Rising Star Games today announced that it will publish the all-new Harvest Moon title, Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, for systems in the Nintendo 3DS family, in Europe and beyond, in spring 2017.

In the once prosperous and verdant land known as the Oasis of the Harvest Goddess, many people used to live in harmony in a lush and green place called Skytree Village. However, the power of the Harvest Goddess gradually began to fade and the land became arid and dry. Now it’s up to you to nurture the seven Skytrees back to health in order to give the Harvest Goddess her power back and, in turn, restore life to this desolate land!

Harvest Moon: Skytree Village weaves a charming farming story and incorporates new features and streamlined gameplay mechanics based on fan feedback. The community has helped shape this all-new adventure just like players will shape and mould the land in the game, with their feedback and input contributing to what will be the most rounded, enjoyable and accessible Harvest Moon yet seen.

Throughout their farming adventure, players will encounter a new cast of characters including a few familiar returning faces, alongside a brand new art style, and new character models. User-friendly tutorials enable players to immediately jump into the action, customising their farm by raising and lowering the land, creating rivers, ponds, and more. Upgraded tools now assist farmers in shaping the land more efficiently, and afterwards they can kick back and relax in their boat to do a spot of fishing!

　　今日(07月11日)是任天堂前社长岩田聪的一周年忌日，刚推出就引爆全球的《Pokemon GO》是聪哥生前参与的最后一部作品，谢谢你一直以来为这个世界带来的快乐和感动！

　　2015年7月13日，任天堂发表讣告称，任天堂社长岩田聪因患胆管癌于2015年7月11日医治无效去世，享年55岁!岩田聪在20世纪80年代加入任天堂，主创《地球大战》和《地球战斗》等游戏，在2002年成为第四任社长。就任社长期间，岩田聪主持研发了Wii、DS、Wii U、GameCube各种游戏产品。

　　2002年5月，岩田聪(Satoru Iwata)就任任天堂公司的新任总裁,他也是继山内房次郎(Fusajiro Yamauchi)于1889年创办任天堂公司以来的第四任总裁。尽管上任未几，岩田聪却已经为任天堂的长治久安勾勒出了特别的蓝图。

帮助制作《神奇宝贝》金/银版

在开发《神奇宝贝》金/银版时，开发商Game Freak遇到了相当多的麻烦。《神奇宝贝》当时已经是一款知名游戏，但硬件老化对于工作室是一个挑战。要把城都地方(Johto Region)塞入小容量的Game Boy很不容易，而岩田聪帮助Game Freak把游戏压缩到原始大小的N分之一。这不仅使得开发人员完成了备受瞩目的城都地方内容，也帮助《神奇宝贝》红/蓝/黄版加入了关东地区内容。岩田聪的编程能力很强，他把金/银版的规模提升了一倍，很多人仍然《神奇宝贝》系列中最好的就是金/银版。

用马里奥开启《任天堂明星大乱斗》

在90年代末，《星之卡比》创造者樱井政博想出了一个相扑比赛的点子，暂名为《龙王》。他向岩田聪讲述了这个想法，后者很感兴趣，于是两人开始一起合作。在开发过程中，岩田聪看到传奇开发者宫本茂(Shigeru Miyamoto )的电脑屏保上有马里奥与鲍泽对打的画面，受此启发，岩田聪建议让任天堂角色来参加打斗。由于担心宫本茂会反对马里奥与皮卡丘对打，岩田聪独力说服他同意制作打斗造型手办。接着，他说服了任天堂的一个个团队，确保没有人反对这个想法，为樱井政博推出《任天堂明星大乱斗》铺平了道路。

任天堂DS

从危险边缘挽救《EarthBound》

深受粉丝喜爱的《EarthBound》也遇到过困扰。在项目进行的头一年，事情进展并不顺利，因为监制糸井重里在游戏开发方面经验不足，程序员们添加内容遇到困难，就连像屏幕滚动这样简单的事情，都会造成严重的性能问题。岩田聪找到糸井，解释说如果他们继续这样做，该游戏会再花上两年时间，还有可能被取消。但是，如果是糸井让他从零开始重新启动这个项目，他们可以在六个月内迎头赶上。糸井同意了，事情果然如岩田聪所言，重新启动后，该游戏的制作过程变得相当顺利。

《神奇宝贝：竞技场》

虽然现在很少有人提起，但《神奇宝贝》红/蓝/黄版中的战斗系统绝对是个烂摊子。除了平衡性方面的问题之外，粗糙代码导致的一些小故障令一些招式没有效果。在业余时间里，岩田聪决定看看是否能做些工作，将这款游戏中的战斗系统移植到任天堂64。最令人惊讶的是，他这样做的时候没有参考文件，这样他就不会犯原版本中同样的错误。完成后，他向任天堂的一个制作人展示了成果，令他们为《神奇宝贝：竞技场》的制作开了绿灯。

Nintendo announces NES Classic Edition, launching this fall

美国任天堂发表，将于 11 月 11 日推出复刻版的迷你美版红白机「NES 经典版（NES Classic Edition）」，价格 59.99 美元，内建《超级玛利欧兄弟》、《萨尔达传说》等 30 款经典游戏。

　　「NES（Nintendo Entertainment System）」是台湾玩家熟悉的任天堂「红白机（Famicom / FC，Family Computer）」的欧美版，配合欧美消费者的偏好改采较大的机身与灰黑色调的设计，以及类似录像机的横向水平插入卡匣插槽，1985 年 7 月在北美推出，当年要价 89.99 美元。

　　在 FC / NES 主机的专利到期之后，市面上陆续出现许多不违法的 FC / NES 仿制机种，如今美国任天堂也抢搭这股怀旧商机，推出了官方版本的怀旧复刻版 NES 主机「NES 经典版」。

Detective Pikachu will be the first live-action Pokémon movie
传奇影业取得《神奇宝贝》版权《名侦探皮卡丘》游戏改编真人版电影明年开拍

　　根据美国外电报导，传奇影业（LEGENDARY PICTURES）宣布，已正式取得《神奇宝贝（精灵宝可梦）》的电影拍摄版权，预计将改编 3DS 游戏《名侦探皮卡丘 ～新搭档诞生～》，于明（2017）年开拍真人版电影《名侦探皮卡丘（Detective Pikachu）》。

　　《名侦探皮卡丘 ～新搭档诞生～》是由 Creatures 开发，任天堂发行的全新冒险游戏。 玩家将要在人类和神奇宝贝共同生活的城市「莱姆市（ライムシティ）」，以为了达成某个目的而来到这城市的少年提姆‧葛德曼（ティム・グッドマン）和侦探皮卡丘的相遇为起点展开冒险故事。

　　《名侦探皮卡丘》将会是《神奇宝贝》系列的首部真人版电影，目前官方尚未发表任何关于作品故事内容、角色等详细信息，上映日期也还未公开。



Pokemon Live-Action Movie a Go at Legendary

Legendary Entertainment has won the rights to a Pokemon movie and is partnering with the Pokémon Company to launch the first live-action Pokemon film franchise with a “Detective Pikachu” movie.

Legendary said details are being kept under wraps but added that the film will be fast-tracked for production to start in 2017. Detective Pikachu is a new character in the Pokemon universe.

The deal comes two weeks after the Pokemon Go app game was released and became a worldwide phenomenen. The augmented reality game allows players to capture, battle and train the Pokemon virtual creatures.

Pokémon was introduced in Japan in 1996 and has sold 279 million video games worldwide with 21.5 billion cards shipped to 74 countries, and an animated series spanning 19 seasons. The hugely popular Pokemon Go app recently saw the pocket monsters surge back into the pop culture consciousnesses.

Universal Pictures will handle distribution of the live-action film outside Japan as it has done with Legendary’s other films for years.

The Pokémon Company’s long time movie collaborator, Toho, will handle distribution of the film franchise in Japan, as it had similarly done in its partnership with Legendary on the reboot for the Godzilla franchise.
