Dragon Ball FighterZ launches February 1 in Japan, adds Nappa and Captain Ginyu
《七龙珠 格斗 Z》发售日公布 故事模式玩家与角色精神连结

　　根据VJUMP 速报消息，PS4/Xbox One/PC《龙珠格斗Z》将在 2018 年 2 月 1 日发售，价格7800日元+税。

　　本作的故事剧情模式将会讲述超战士们一个又一个被打倒，而孙悟空醒来后发现与玩家的精神连结到了一起。而在人造人篇剧情中玩家将与18号的精神连结，至于敌战士篇则是跟弗利萨……

　　而随着剧情发展玩家可以与角色们加深感情，随着感情深入可以听到乐平的“想要结婚”、贝吉塔的“布尔玛性格太糟糕”等私人的对话内容。

　　参战角色方面，本次确定那巴和基纽将会在游戏中登场，而基纽的超必杀自然就是大家熟悉的身体交换。



Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Japan on February 1, 2018 for 7,800 yen, the latest issue of V-Jump reveals.

New playable characters Nappa and Captain Ginyu are also revealed. Nappa can summon Saibamen and use the Meteor special attack “Kappa!” Captain Ginyu has a technique that summons The Ginyu Force, and can use the Meteor special attack “Body Change” to switch characters and HP with his opponent.

In Story Mode, an event occurs in which the Super Warriors fall one after the other. When Goku awakens, the spirit of the player will be linked to him. In this way, the story will develop by linking characters with the player’s spirit. In the Android Chapter, for example, the spirit of the player is linked with Android 18. And in the Enemy Warriors Chapter, the spirit of the player is linked with Frieza.

You can also deepen your bonds with characters. If your bonds are deep enough, you will be able to hear private conversations, such as Yamcha saying, “I want to get married!” or Vegeta saying, “Bulma has a nasty personality…”

In Story Mode, you will be able to freely choose whether to battle and build experience points, rescue allies, learn skills, and more while advancing on a map.

In North America and Europe, Dragon Ball FighterZ is due out in early 2018 and February 2018, respectively.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC characters Android 13 and Tapion announced



Android 13 and Tapion will join Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as playable characters via paid downloadable content, the latest issue of V-Jump reveals.

Universe 2 and Universe 11 battle costumes will also be released as paid downloadable content.

Bandai Namco is also planning to release a free “Hero Colosseum” game facility, which enables figure-based battles with each other and adds a new story.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC characters Android 13 and Tapion, free Hero Colosseum update launch this fall

Tapion and Android 13 will be added to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as playable characters via paid downloadable content this fall, Bandai Namco announced. New costumes and a free new “Hero Colosseum” mode will also launch alongside the two characters.

Here’s the overview, via Bandai Namco:

Tapion and Android 13 will join the battle in the new upcoming paid content available in autumn 2017. On one hand, Tapion will quickly attack your opponent with his sword and support your allies by creating a barrier with the Flute of the Brave. On the other hand, Android 13 has a powerful weapon as he is able to read your enemies’ data to track and attack them from a long range. Fans will also be delighted to know that new costumes will be added in this new paid content. They will be able to dress their fighter with Toppo and Ribrianne costumes from the “Universe Survival Saga”.

An all new mode will appear in Conton City with the next free update coming this autumn as well. Hero Colosseum will offer a new story and let players play a strategic board game with mysterious handheld figurines. Stay tuned for more details!

Dragon Ball FighterZ January 26 Release Date Confirmed, 8 DLC Characters Planned



Ready? Dragon Ball FighterZ launch date confirmed to January 26th, 2018

Put January 26th in your calendar as Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe today confirmed that Dragon Ball FighterZ will be available on that day on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC Digital via Steam and other distributors.

Fights are all about strategy. And fights in Dragon Ball FighterZ are becoming more and more strategical with the arrival of the 2 new heavyweight fighters Nappa and Captain Ginyu. Captain Ginyu is quite powerful as players can exchange him with their opponent character until the end of the fight. Nappa is a heavy type character using the Saibamen to attack the enemy. Using the Saibamen in a good way could help a lot to gain time to charge energy or prepare a combo.

Story Mode will also surprise and delight all the fans with the LINK System allowing them to embody different characters, share their minds and even discuss with them while they live in the same body! Surprises are not finished yet. Composed of 3 different parts, the story mode will allow players to experience 3 different perspectives each offering different details and secrets about the whole story. Players will first play the Super Warriors Arc in the perspective of the Saiyans, then the Super Villain Arc in the perspective of the enemies and finally the Android Arc in the perspective of the Androids. By taking part in different fighting combinations included in these 3 chapters, players will be able to level up their characters and get a full understanding of the amazing Dragon Ball FighterZ scenario! The story mode map will also surprise everyone by becoming a new place for a tactical move as players will have different options for their next destination. This strategical choice will have an impact on fighting abilities in future fights!

Last but not least, more details about the online mode are also revealed! The online mode with interconnected match-making will be the perfect place to test players’ skills. In the Circle Match mode, up to 8 players can enter into the room to fight against each other where up to 4 fights can happen at the same time. The World Match mode will allow players to choose between a casual and a ranked match.

On top of that huge content announcements, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe also announced more digital versions of Dragon Ball FighterZ additionally to the standard edition:

• The Dragon Ball FighterZ - FighterZ Edition which includes the game along with the FighterZ Pass which adds 8 new characters to the roster.

• The Dragon Ball FighterZ - Ultimate Edition which contains the game and the FighterZ Pass with amazing content such as a commentator Voice Pack and the long awaited Anime Music pack. This Anime Music Pack has been requested by fans for years and will include 11 songs from the anime. In this way, players will be able to fight to the sound of "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" and "We Gotta Power", but also the most famous endings and background musics!

The FighterZ Pass included into the Dragon Ball FighterZ Edition and the Dragon Ball FighterZ - Ultimate Edition is composed of 8 additional mighty characters with their respective stamp, set of alternative colors and even Lobby Avatars.

In related news, Bandai Namco announced that it will release an “Anime Song & BGM Pack” for Dragon Ball FighterZ in Japan, which enables players to change the background music to theme songs and the like from the Dragon Ball, Dragon Bll Z, and Dragon Ball GT anime. The same pack is currently available for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in Japan, and users who already own it will be able to use it in Dragon Ball FighterZ for an inexpensive price.

Bandai Namco has released the first story trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

In the Dragon Ball FighterZ story mode, players are linked with the body and mind of Goku to discover what caused all the Dragon Ball warriors to lose consciousness when a group of warrior clones appeared. Players will play through three story arcs to uncover the plot behind this unusual situation.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 details Hero Colosseum update, Extra Packs 1 and 2

Bandai Namco has shared further information on the new content coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Hero Colosseum

The new game mode, “Hero Colosseum,” will be available this fall as a free update for all Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 versions. This new game within the game will have its own story mode where players will experience a tactical figurine battle gameplay.

Extra Packs

New content will also be available with the paid Extra Pack 1 and Extra Pack 2. Both of them will offer new characters and gameplay features:

Extra Pack 1 will be available in fall 2017 will include four new characters: Tapion, Android 13, Dabra, and Majin Buu (Gohan Absorbed).

Extra Pack 2 will contain an original new character, a new scenario, and a new way to interact with Dragon Ball characters. On top of that, players may also discover an all new form Goku in the Extra Pack 2. More details will be revealed later, stay tuned!
