New Details for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Revealed at E3

Leading interactive entertainment company Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe revealed at E3 new details on the much awaited Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Digital.

Slated for release during winter 2016, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be out in time to celebrate the 30th year anniversary of the Dragon Ball franchise. Based on the massive success of the first game, Xenoverse 2 will be an Action-Fighting game with MMO and RPG elements where players can power-up characters and explore the vast Dragon Ball universe.

As history is being attacked and altered by evil intruders, players will have to become Time Patrollers in order to protect the Past and the Future of the Dragon Ball world. New and powerful foes coming from Dragon Ball movies (such as Slug, with more to be revealed) will do their best to succeed in their wicked deeds. To fight them, Time Patrollers will gather in a huge new city that is 7 times bigger than “Toki Toki City” from the previous game. Conton City is the name of the new main hub where all players can undertake quests, train at school, enter fights, shop and more. On top of a massive city that will allow for up to 300 simultaneous players, Bandai Namco Entertainment and Dimps have implemented new exciting features: including that each playable race will have different rewards for their missions.

Last but not least, it has been confirmed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will have a local versus mode with several environments to duke it out in; and that the will run at 60 fps on all platforms, allowing for a smoother experience with highly animated fights.

　　BNEI 今天宣布曾出现日本动漫《七龙珠超》中的希特(Hit)正式被加入到游戏《七龙珠 异战 2》中，官方同时还公布出了希特的预告视频，一起来看看游戏中的希特吧。

　　希特是日本动漫《七龙珠超》中的虚拟角色，也是一名第六宇宙的杀手。全身颜色为紫色，身穿长大衣，习惯将手插在大衣的口袋里，总是给人一种神秘的感觉。其实力也确实远超第六宇宙另外四名选手，是悟空、贝吉塔等人的强敌。

　　同时希特还是一个矛盾性的人物。平时不苟言笑，与贝吉塔的战斗中非常冷静，不过在与悟空的激战中也露出热血激昂的一面;他是第六宇宙最强的杀手，但在战斗中他光明磊落，胜券在握时不给对手多余暴力，在悟空弃权后也主动还人情，让局于弱小的莫纳卡。

Expand the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 experience with the first DLC Pack and free updates

After a successful launch last October, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe is coming back with more content and features for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2! These updates, containing the very first DLC Pack together with loads of free content for all players, will be available on December 20th.

The DLC Pack 1, available through Season Pass and purchasable individually, will contain 2 new characters: Cabbe and Frost, as well as new parallel quests, costumes, attacks and much more!

The free updates will offer new skills, new costumes and new attacks. On the top of that, all players will be able to enjoy a new event: the Frieza Siege Event in which they will have to defeat Frieza’s army in Conton City. Piccolo has technical skills such as extending his arms to grasp his opponent and charge techniques. He has a variety of methods to break the opponent’s guard. He can fire beams at super high speeds. By long-pressing the button, he can charge up for a stronger attack. He also has a technique that fires a Ki blast to deal great damage. When connecting from a combo, it will deal even greater damage.

Krillin has low power and reach, but can use a variety of techniques. He can even use Kamehameha, meaning fighting from a distance should not be a problem. He can use skills to confuse the enemy such as the “Afterimage Technique,” which leaves behind an image of Krillin before turning into an attack. He can also use “Destructo Disc,” which is impossible to guard against. After firing Ki blasts, Krillin can alter their trajectory and have them explode in the sky to shoot out multiple Ki blasts.

The magazine also reveals that players will be able to control chibi characters in online mode, similar to the online system in the Guilty Gear Xrd series, and that those chibi characters will be able to battle against each other.

Piccolo and Krillin Join the Dragon Ball Fighterz Roster

Two new playable characters have been added to the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ, the 2.5D fighting game developed by Arc System Works. Both characters have their respective fighting style and distinctive skills! Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe also revealed more details about Online Battles.

Piccolo is considered to be one of the most technical characters with his expandable arm to grab his opponents. He has various ways to break the opponent’s guard and he can also fire fast and powerful beams. Players can charge up for a stronger attack by long-pressing the button. To create a huge blow, Piccolo can use his ability to release Ki blast from afar or for an effective strike, players can even connect it with a combo move!

Krillin doesn’t have that much reach and power but easily compensates with several different techniques such as the Kamehameha to fight a long-range game. He can also skillfully confuse his opponents by leaving an image of himself before turning into an attack. Furthermore, players have the choice to use the famous Senzu Bean. Fans will also be delighted to know that his signature and blockable attack is also included in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

In the Online Battles of Dragon Ball FighterZ, players can fight and interact with other users in the FighterZ lobby. That’s the perfect place to rise up to the arena stage and get matched with other users who are willing to battle! The closed beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ will run from September 16 to 18, Bandai Namco announced.

Sign-ups, which were previously announced to open on July 26, have been moved to August 22 in order to expand the capacity of the closed beta in an effort to enable more players to participate. This includes bolstering background systems to ensure the closed beta registration and selection process can accept the volume of anticipated sign-ups.

This does not affect Japan, however, whose sign-ups for the PlayStation 4 closed beta opened today. Simply download this free application ticket for your chance to participate. Beta dates for Japan have yet to be announced.

Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyain Blue Vegeta are playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ, the latest issue of Weekly Jumps reveals.

Previously announced playable characters include Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Cell, Frieza, Majin Buu, Trunks, Krillin, and Piccolo.

The magazine also reveals that the game will have a story mode involving a revived Android 16 where “super warriors fall one by one.” It is described as “a new story for Goku and friends depicted in high-end animation.”

Dragon Ball FighterZ is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2018. A closed beta will run from September 16 to 18, with registration opening on August 22.

Bandai Namco has released the second trailer for the Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

The Switch version offers exclusive features including Switch-specific controls and functionality (performing the Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb with the Joy-Con motion controls, for example), a six-player local multiplayer mode, and the ability to use each Joy-Con individually to play the game with a friend locally.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is due out for Switch in Japan on September 7, and in the Americas and Europe on September 22. It is already available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Yamcha and Tien Shinhan are playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ, and an original character called Android 21 will appear, the latest issue of V-Jump reveals.

Android 21, designed by Akira Toriyama, is a central figure in the main story, described as like a scientist with an intellect comparable to Dr. Gero, creator of the Androids. She is a character shrouded in mystery and said to cause a big uproar in the story. She is shown with Android 16 in all three screenshots.

Yamcha is a on-the-ground, close-range, rush-type fighter. He uses surprise attacks and combos derived from his signature attack, “Wolf Fang Fist.” His special attack, Spirit Ball, can be controlled with additional input. He can also use his Meteor special attack, “Neo Wolf Fang Fist.” Here are his stats:

Technique: 3

Tien is a high-performance fighter who overwhelms his opponents with various techniques, from Tri-Beam to Dodon Ray, Volleyball Attack, and even assists through Chiaotzu’s Telekinesis, which can seal the opponent’s movement. When using Tri-Beam, it is possible to rapid-fire with additional input, but HP will deplete for every shot. He can also use his Meteor special attack, “Neo Tri-Beam.” Here are his stats:

Bandai Namco has released a trailer for new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 downloadable characters Dabra and Majin Buu (Gohan Absorbed).

Both characters are due out this fall across all versions of the game, and also include Zamasu as a new master. They will not be part of the game’s existing Season Pass.

《七龙珠 格斗 Z》发售日公布 故事模式玩家与角色精神连结

In Story Mode, an event occurs in which the Super Warriors fall one after the other. When Goku awakens, the spirit of the player will be linked to him. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC characters Android 13 and Tapion, free Hero Colosseum update launch this fall

Tapion and Android 13 will be added to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as playable characters via paid downloadable content this fall, Bandai Namco announced. New costumes and a free new “Hero Colosseum” mode will also launch alongside the two characters.

Here’s the overview, via Bandai Namco:

Tapion and Android 13 will join the battle in the new upcoming paid content available in autumn 2017. On one hand, Tapion will quickly attack your opponent with his sword and support your allies by creating a barrier with the Flute of the Brave. On the other hand, Android 13 has a powerful weapon as he is able to read your enemies’ data to track and attack them from a long range. Fans will also be delighted to know that new costumes will be added in this new paid content. They will be able to dress their fighter with Toppo and Ribrianne costumes from the “Universe Survival Saga”.

An all new mode will appear in Conton City with the next free update coming this autumn as well. Hero Colosseum will offer a new story and let players play a strategic board game with mysterious handheld figurines. Stay tuned for more details!

Put January 26th in your calendar as Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe today confirmed that Dragon Ball FighterZ will be available on that day on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC Digital via Steam and other distributors.

Fights are all about strategy. And fights in Dragon Ball FighterZ are becoming more and more strategical with the arrival of the 2 new heavyweight fighters Nappa and Captain Ginyu. Captain Ginyu is quite powerful as players can exchange him with their opponent character until the end of the fight. Nappa is a heavy type character using the Saibamen to attack the enemy. Using the Saibamen in a good way could help a lot to gain time to charge energy or prepare a combo.

Story Mode will also surprise and delight all the fans with the LINK System allowing them to embody different characters, share their minds and even discuss with them while they live in the same body! Surprises are not finished yet. Composed of 3 different parts, the story mode will allow players to experience 3 different perspectives each offering different details and secrets about the whole story. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 details Hero Colosseum update, Extra Packs 1 and 2

Bandai Namco has shared further information on the new content coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Get the details below.

Hero Colosseum

The new game mode, “Hero Colosseum,” will be available this fall as a free update for all Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 versions. This new game within the game will have its own story mode where players will experience a tactical figurine battle gameplay.

Extra Packs

New content will also be available with the paid Extra Pack 1 and Extra Pack 2. Both of them will offer new characters and gameplay features:

Extra Pack 1 will be available in fall 2017 will include four new characters: Tapion, Android 13, Dabra, and Majin Buu (Gohan Absorbed).

Extra Pack 2 will contain an original new character, a new scenario, and a new way to interact with Dragon Ball characters. On top of that, players may also discover an all new form Goku in the Extra Pack 2. More details will be revealed later, stay tuned!

Dragon Ball FighterZ Adds Gotenks, Kid Buu and Ultimate Gohan



Gotenks, Kid Buu, and Adult Gohan will be playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ, the latest issue of V-Jump reveals.

Gotenks’ Meteor special attack is “Charging Ultra Buu Buu Volleyball.” While Gotenks’ partner in performing this technique is Piccolo in the original work, the scene will change depending on the partners you assemble in the game. Kid Buu’s special attack is “Planet Burst.” Adult Gohan can use “Unlock Potential” by consuming the Ki Gauge, the magnification of which changes depending on the amount of ki in the gauge. His special move is “Ultimate Kamehameha.”

Outside of the new characters, the magazine also reveals:

Shop – Players will be able to purchase character color variations and titles by spending the Zeni earned in battle.
Arcade Mode – Fight a predetermined number of battles. The route will change depending on whether you win or lose.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 downloadable content “Extra Pack 1” will be available today, Bandai Namco announced.

Beerus is the God of Destruction and possess overwhelming strength. His Meteor special move, “God of Destruction’s Judgment,” is activated by grabbing the opponent before him. He then attacks with a transcendent headshot. His “Spheres of Destruction” technique can prevent the opponent from moving. It generates spheres that explode upon touching the opponent. Spheres can be placed in various spots to trifle with the opponent.

Hit uses “Time-Skip/Molotov” to stop time and strike the opponent’s vitals at ultra high-speed. He has a number of ultra high-speed special moves where he can’t be seen. His Meteor special move is “I Continue to Grow,” in which he stops time and deliver blows at ultra high-speed. The opponent will receive major damage and collapse when time starts moving again. Hit uses instantaneous attacks and movements, strikes that counter attacks received while standing, and more. He also has plenty of technical skills.

Goku Black is really Zamasu, who came from another dimension and took over Goku’s body. Goku Black has Goku’s physical abilities and god powers, and can turn his hand into a blade to attack. His Meteor special move, “Work of the Gods,” uses a scythe for a fearful attack. He then creates several clones and mercilessly attacks with his hand blade. The end of the technique unleashes a powerful flash and cuts up the opponent. For some special moves, Zamasu will lend Goku Black a hand. When firing off a Kamehameha, Zamasu will also hold back the opponent. And by cooperating with Zamasu, you can unleash a super special move that throws a powerful spirit ball giant in both power and size.





In addition to the new fighters, the magazine also has information on two new gameplay elements:

“Come forth, Shenron!” – Shenron appears during battle. The seven Dragon Balls will gather one by one as you pull off specific numbers of combos. You and your opponent share the amount of Dragon Balls gathered. Shenron will appear in battle when certain conditions are fulfilled, and the player who fulfills those conditions will have their wish granted. You can choose from four wishes: full HP recovery, teammate revival, addition of one “Sparking!” icon, or constantly recovering HP.

“Dramatic Production” – Reproduces famous scenes from Dragon Ball before and after the battle when certain conditions are fulfilled.

An open beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ will be held from January 14 at midnight PT / 3:00 a.m. ET / 9:00 a.m CET to January 16 at the same time, with users who pre-order the game gaining early access on January 13, Bandai Namco announced.

The company also released the fourth trailer and new screenshots for the game, which features newly announced fighters Goku Black, Beerus, and Hit.

Goku Black

Goku Black will receive assistance from Zamasu, such as holding down the opponent when firing a “Kamehameha.” Using his giant scythe and hand-blade, Goku Black can attack from a distance with long reach, never giving his opponent a chance to retaliate.

Beerus is the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He restrains his opponent while using “Spheres of Destruction” that explode upon touch, all the while gradually cornering his opponent with what is not even the full extent of his God powers.





Hit

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC ‘Extra Pack 2’ details Jiren and Android 17, free update

Bandai Namco has shared information and screenshots on the newly announced character additions for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 downloadable content “Extra Pack 2,” Jiren and Android 17, as well as an upcoming free update.

Jiren and Android 17

Jiren is a member of the Pride Trooper and the strongest warrior from Universe 11. He has special moves such as Mediation and a Power Rush which no other character can contain! Android 17 has a new ability which allows him to absorb attacks as well as a brand new fighting style.

Free Update

Free content will be also available in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 including a new battle system, new avatar skills and new special costumes for Dragon Ball characters! Limit Burst is the new battle system that can be used once per battle. Players can dramatically increase their ability temporally depending on the number of members in the enemy team. The type of boost will also differ based on the fighter. Some characters may power up their team members whilst some may lower the status of the opponent.

This free update will also bring a new avatar Awaken Skill with the “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan” (SSGSS) where players will be able to feel the power of the Gods and be transformed to the infamous “Blue Form”! Finally new swimsuits will be available for Android 18 and Videl. Let’s get prepared for the summer season!

The “Extra Pack 2” add-on will launch in February for $16.99. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

　　巴达克是卡卡罗特的父亲，在下级赛亚人战士中拥有较高的地位。而布罗利是剧场版中的原创角色，传说中的赛亚人。一出生就有一万的战斗力，与孙悟空同一天出生。会对孙悟空的声音、气产生反应。只懂得破坏、自身战斗力极强，看见孙悟空时会异常愤怒。

　　目前这两人的配信日和售价均未定。

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC ‘Extra Pack 2’ Goku (Ultra Instinct) screenshots

Bandai Namco has released the first screenshots of the Goku (Ultra Instinct) add-on character in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

As previously announced, Goku (Ultra Instinct) is included with the downloadable content “Extra Pack 2,” which is due out in February for $16.99. Other characters included in the pack include Fu, Jiren, and Android 17 (Dragon Ball Super).

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
